She's upset because she's missed out on 1/2 of her 'dream' internship. The chances of her testing positive would have been so much lower if she'd been more careful, even if she did actually catch it from the office. No Eve, COVID alone didn't stop you from making the most out of the opportunity, your lack of responsibility and empathy did too. Karma says hi xo

The best thing about this is that (according to her LinkedIn), the internship is at Bild. I'm from a German-speaking country (currently living in the UK) and 'Bild' is the equivalent of 'The Sun'. Just google 'Bild Zeitung' und you will realise it is elite journalism

Eve has shown no connection between her going out all the time and catching Covid, I mean I know it is ravaging the world but she seemed to go out most nights regardless, and travel for fun (not for work, or for necessity). It just seems like she thought she wouldn’t get it. I hope she recovers soon though.

I still don‘t understand why Fabletics sponsor her. She‘s not an active person whatsoever? Plus most of the clothes she picks out / gets send are hideous!

Also why is she still running around Berlin visiting several bars/cafes? We’re about to cross the 10000 mark here (which I know is low compares to other countries but still). Our politician’s have practically begged people to stay home or we will be in another lockdown just in time for christmas!

I’m not going to sit through 26 minutes of her talking about herself and how she was unsure about her symptoms when she could have called her local Corona hotline/GP and got tested immediately because her symptoms weren’t

Everyone says that younger people don’t tend to get the fever/cough usual symptoms but that they get headaches and feeling a bit off. I’m surprised she didn’t guess it was covid though because she was sat opposite someone who had covid (I’m assuming that they were not wearing masks)

This is maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think anyone is in a position to say if someone else has or doesn’t have an eating disorder. If Eve says she’s had an eating disorder, she has.

1) there are other eating disorders other than anorexia.
2) you can have an eating disorder and still be suffering without being underweight and dying in hospital.

This kind of attitude is why lots of people don’t seek help for eating disorders.

Not to go on about it but I'm well aware of Ednos; Eve said she had anorexia but she wasn't diagnosed. She then described dieting. Dieting =/= anorexia. I think it's OK for her to say she experienced body dysmorphia and disorder eating but I really don't think it's okay for her to pretend she had a serious eating disorder.

Watching that covid video was making me feel unwell so I had to switch it off

But as a recap, she felt spacey and headachy. Stayed at home from work just in case but still drank with friends, went for a walk and to the pharmacy for some reason (maybe cos she didn’t have the listed symptoms).
Lost her sense of smell then got told someone at work is positive so got sent the test from work.
Is upset she missed some of her internship.

Since she seems to be mostly fine now I think not. Better her, as someone who’s gone against guidelines/rules than someone who’s followed them all.

But in all serious, her symptoms do not sound that uncommon. So she either should have isolated herself or gone for a test straightaway BEFORE meeting friends?

I hate how she is saying with confidence that she caught it from work so people don’t knock her for how irresponsible she has been. My little brother tested positive and 4 of us self isolated with him for 2 weeks yet none of us caught it from him (and he is only 7 so didn’t isolate in his room and isn’t super on it with washing his hands etc). She can’t be sure that just because someone in work had it, she got it from there and not her many cafes and bars.

Is she saying here that her mum texted her to drink whiskey in response to her being a mess (I presume she’s a “mess” cos of covid) - kind of an irresponsible thing to say to your daughter, that drinking in response to getting a deadly virus is the answer?!

‘Year abroad is going swimmingly’ she stated in her Instagram story. At least you got a year abroad Eve. I’m sure she could have chosen to postpone her year abroad (as I and many others have). She could have chosen to not go out to bars and restaurants to minimise her risk. She’s brought this all on herself and then complains when she has to isolate for the good of the community.

I really don't get why she's not receiving any backlash about all of this, her behaviour throughout this pandemic and her attitude towards it all. If it were anyone else, I feel like they'd get loads
