It's just common sense to stay isolated when you have a deadly virus. What the duck?
I can’t fathom how thick and selfish she’s been. It’s despicable to say you’re foLlOwInG gUiDaNcE aas if that’s all that matters or gives you a pass WHEN YOUVE STILL GOT SYMPTOMS.

if I were her Id be mortified given how much socialising she’d been doing before the result. Instead Eve ... goes. Shopping. FOR CLOTHES. what the duck indeed.

is the whole thing a joke to her? What a selfish twit.

I probably wouldnt be as angry about her going out if it was for food shopping because when you’ve been isolating if you can’t get a food delivery it’s pretty tit. But it’s the fact that she went clothes shopping which is just the most inessential thing ever😡

Eve sucks. She's getting no more views from me.

And she should definitely buy those potentially infected covid jeans.

I’m sorry. But If i had covid ... i would double the amount of time I needed to isolate for just to be sure. I have had measles before. You are contagious for 5 days after your rash has disappeared. Pretty sure I didn’t go back to uni for two weeks .. although the majority of people are vaccinated.. I did not want to risk it. Measles like covid, can kill. KILL! But oh no, Eve needed to go shopping. We still know very very little about Covid. So why risk giving it to someone, just to go shopping. Where I live every single person is hospitalised who has covid, symptoms or no symptoms. It is only after getting two negative covid tests in a row you are allowed to leave hospital. It can take weeks to be all clear. I live in Korea who are doing incredibly well .. so Eve just wants to do the minimum. Considering her position in life .. a student .. she can stay in for longer. Yes if you are working pay cheque to pay cheque then you may not have a choice but to only stick to the 10 days. Lots of countries it is 14 days. Each country factors in their economy along with the science ..

so... she's feeling ill again. that's why you don't go out clothes shopping the second you start feeling better. when my sister had covid, she got better for a few days and then after about 4 days she got a fever again.

i just watched her story from yesterday and i shocked by her aggressive talking and passive aggressive smile at the end... i don’t have words for her saying “i am nit here for people policing me for following government advice” ,,, i am from germany myself and i have worked in health care and i know the testing situation has changed so she can’t get another test but what is that quote about? it’s common sense not to go shopping for no reason in the middle of a pandemic and especially not if you just had the virus? i bet she’ll be one of those people telling anyone she had covid and now she’s immune to justify more of her crappy behaviour

How much did she want to bleeping complain in her new video. She acts like a spoilt child who can’t get her way. One of the main things that annoyed me was that she complained that her sister can move between her mum and dads house at Christmas but she’s not allowed (though she basically said she was going to do it anyway). She’s not a child, you don’t have to see your family on Christmas Day - I think she’s really immature and doesn’t have an adult attitude at all, I can’t believe she’s nearly 21. I’m moving back home for Christmas from uni, I’ve not seen anyone this whole time and Ive really struggled with mental health issues, so if eve wants to know what loneliness is like then she should try sticking to the rules and not seeing anyone at all. Even still, I’m not going to see my dad at Christmas because i don’t want to risk passing on the virus because he’s high risk, but it’s okay for princess eve to do whatever the duck she wants because she’s been “lonely”

I think whatever age you are, you would want to see your family on Christmas. But yeah, I'm in the same position as you with uni, and it's been kind of hard to have to go through such a difficult time, not even being able to meet people, whilst studytubers were jetting off to Berlin. And now, the ones in Berlin are the ones complaining about how bad their situations are, whilst the rest of us have been having quite an awful time here in the UK.

I don’t want to defend her but if the system in Germany is the same as the U.K. the track and trace phone you every day and they ask how you are and about your symptoms and they tell you from what day you no longer have to isolate so I’m assuming she was told she can go out. Agreed I personally would isolate longer and definitely wouldn’t put it on Instagram but that is the rules and she won’t be the only one doing it

She does know some people have it for a lot longer than the two weeks? Some poor people constantly test positive

I know this makes me a horrible person but I hope
something comes up and she can’t go home. Maybe then she’ll understand the severity of the situation and understand how many people
haven’t gone shopping in months or seen anyone outside their household, let alone prance around different countries.

Yeah I understand wanting to be with your family at Christmas but Eve is in such a privileged position. It just annoyed me that she wanted to see both her parents on Christmas Day - there’s literally no reason to travel between two houses, she could spend one week with her mum and a week with her dad. It’s been awfully tit for students in the UK but it’s okay for influencers to travel abroad and then complain when it’s difficult to come home for Christmas. It’s literally going to be difficult for me to come home for Christmas and that’s in the same country!!

I’m sure test and trace is better in Germany than in the UK, I didn’t get called once when I was isolating!!

Legit, students at my uni have been told they are only allowed to go home with a negative test in a four day time frame. We're under such strict restrictions and Eve is moaning that she can't be in two households.

It’s a similar type of thing at my uni, on top of having been essentially locked up for months. It’s also annoying that eve has been living abroad for months, not affected by the pandemic, most people won’t have been able to do their year abroad in the usual way. Yet she complains about this internship that she’s missed out on even though she’s been working in Germany this whole time so she’s had the experience that a lot of students have missed out on

I'm convinced she tweets things to get likes for whatever is Cool to say at the time, even if it means contradicting herself later on.

She’d be moaning if she were in Oxford too - i think she is quite a negative person by default.

I know she caught it at work but given she has been out at bars, travelling to Poland and almost acting like Covid isn't happening, I do feel like she was going to catch it at some point.

The fact she even went abroad for an internship during the pandemic (when we all knew a second wave would come) blows my mind.

She says she's been in the apartment all month. Welcome to the world of all the people like who have been working 40 hours a week from my bedroom for 8 months or students stuck in uni halls doing online learning.

She should just be lucky she can go home. Myself and my partner aren't travelling back to Ireland this year to see his family because it's not safe. We haven't been back since last year and won't be back for months. She needs to get a grip of herself and see how lucky she is.

rather unrelated but I'm curious as to whether other people are thinking the same- idk if any of you have ever had a look at Eve's newspaper, which is supposed to be a platform for students to write pieces about worldwide issues. The whole point of it is that it's supposed to be an international publication, with perspectives from all over the world. However, all the writers/editors are just Oxbridge students with a few from Durham and London unis thrown in (not to mention that most of them are white), and when I brought this up with the magazine on social media I got a really quite rude response back implying that I had no idea what I was talking about and that I shouldn't be so negative about their magazine. You can't claim that it's an international publication when most of the team are at Oxbridge, and then be rude to anyone who questions it.
