Eve is now complaining about how people on her uni confessions site have been criticising the meridian magazine. I looked and she has commented on all the posts with snide remarks and then wonders why people find her online persona annoying. The main thing I don’t understand how the editors are international when they all go to uk unis. Just shows her privilege that she can set up a magazine by herself and get people to be editors and writers for her.

my sister can’t come back from abroad this Christmas either, as I don’t think I’ll be back at my parents either! It’s just what Christmas 2020 will be like

Yes and let's not forget that the travel window for university students to return home was 3-9 December, but she thinks she's above that.

Tbf, I couldn't go home in the travel window - needed access to the library books as I have exams up until Dec 21. I wish I could have gone, but needs must Eve should have just sucked it up and gone home

one thing I think about eve is that she claimed to have bad anxiety and depression (to the point where she was hospitalised if I remember rightly) and rarely talks about it now. I just think it’s strange that she has just dismissed it now, like when you have depression it doesn’t just disappear when you have a few weeks of therapy and move to another country. It puts out the whole wrong message to her followers because she makes out that if you struggle with mental health issues it goes away completely?! I think now she comes across as someone who just complains about everything and not just in a general complaining way, more irritating and it gets on my fucking nerves

i think shes from Wolverhampton? and she defo went to Wolverhampton girls high school - its a good grammar school i think
she says shes from Birmingham because she doesn't like to associate herself with wolvo but when shes talking about privilege and how she most definitely is not privileged shes from Wolverhampton
i mean you cant pick and choose where you're from when you want to lol

This is all correct, she’s from Wolverhampton, I think sometimes she says Birmingham because she assumes people don’t know where Wolverhampton is....

Why does she always make such a big deal about having divorced parents? It’s not unusual nowadays, and yes she is a child of divorced parents but she’s an adult now so the rules applying to under 18s obviously aren’t going to apply to her

I think she just felt tied into languages because her grandad told her to study them before he died. I think she would have been much happier studying politics than doing languages.

she said in a video (long time ago) that she thought that doing politics (or to become a diplomat, which was her dream at the moment) was going to be tough because of exposing herself personally in her youtube channel, so she switched to languages/journalism

Does anyone know why her friends Lizzie and Liv Rook disappeared off YouTube?

I’m not too sure but I think in some way they both got fed up with it? It’s gone now but Lizzie shared something to her story the other day and for the life of me I can’t remember what it said - but along the lines of YouTube/social media not being worth it?
I think liv became a photographer? I think she just wanted a career

People were saying that when eves mum and dad divorced it was because he was with a 16 year old - quite a few years ago now so plausible that she had kids. I don’t really care tbh and there’s no way to prove it. But ngl if that was me I would be pretty pissed off at my dad

Because my dad liked driving and flying was far too expensive back then and it was only (only!) a 14 hour drive each way, my dad drove me to mine so I took an entire car worth's of stuff. Eve has nothing compared to what I thought I'd need for a year abroad.

I don't understand how working in a bar contributes to her oxford degree? even in germany she didn't seem to be doing any work, like how is this part of her degree?

They have some of the least strict rules about it, even on a single language degree you usually only have to do something stupid like 50 days in a place of employment etc.....

It seems to me like she’s not doing much work at all though. Not like a proper job 9-5. But she was saying that she wanted to work in a record shop or a bar? I know that might improve language skills but it’s going to be a bit of a shock in her final year when she has to start studying again
