She's got an internship at a media company. I presume it hasn't begun yet so is just exploring the city.

Don’t know the details of this but tbf it’s quite common to teach English for the British Council (I think that’s the name?) on your year abroad. I didn’t choose that option so I’m not sure if English speaking schools are the norm for the scheme but I imagine not

I don’t get it, I know life is short and all that and you’ve got to take opportunities as they come but Berlin will still be here after the pandemic! If I was her, I’d want to spend as much time as I could with my family. She hasn’t seen them in however long. Also, is she still meant to be going to Argentina?? If so, then I’d want as much family time before I go to the other side of the world.

Pretty sure Argentina was cancelled. She was asking about places in Spain a couple weeks ago (and moaning about it)

Former journalist here. I agree, journalism is so competitive. If she thinks it's like her current intern ship and she can just work a couple of hours a day then she has another thing coming. It's long hours, often unsocialable hours, and not a great wage. I used be out the door at 5am every weekend for my first news job on £13000 a year (pro rota) and I know not all jobs are like that and it was over 10 years ago but it's really hard.

Agree completely. I regularly do 12 hour shifts etc for less money than some of my friends who work much less. I think you have to be really passionate about journalism to want to do it as it's hard work and not always rewarding. It's a big commitment and even for a masters Eve will likely be competing with people with tonnes of passion/experience in the field.

I’m not English myself but her accent sounds so different in her new vlog especially when she’s in the shopping centre. Reminded me of her video where she explained how her accent changes depending in where she is/who she is surrounded with. Is this only strange to me?

tbh I don't think its strange I'm from Northumberland and go to uni in Bristol, my accent is super different depending on where I am now. the same thing happened with my sisters after they went to Liverpool and Edinburgh

I was feeling a little but sorry for her. Yes she's been socialising alot, when I've barely seen anyone since March, but has she actually broken any rules? That aside I'm not liking how testing positive seems to now have shame attached to it...

However, I've just seen her Instagram stories and it suggests she's been out to buy Lucozade and vitamins.

Exactly! I would feel bad even sharing going between mine and my boyfriend's, and that's allowed. Can't imagine openly showing having no regard for the rules.

I think Jade might appear at the least to be very positive and woohoo! life! is! good! (although we all know how problematic she is), whereas Eve is just entirely unbearable
