She's done nothing but piss me off for the last half-year. She was lucky enough to TRAVEL TO BERLIN and live there for a couple of months and GET SAFELY HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, where as other (a lot of) people have been stuck at home since March & and people have lost their loved ones!

The fact that it's so obvious she would've travelled to Spain in January if flights weren't banned (and probaby will if they 'unban' it) is so concerning to watch and selfish of her. Stay the duck home and shut up. She's ben complaining non-stop since this summer, and this is a girl that was able to live in Berlin for 4(?) months! Boo-hoo, you won't be able to travel to Spain anymore, Eve, people are dying.

Apart from how it's such a self-centred train of thought to feel worse about government regulations than about how many people are sick, why would you just ... tweet that out? She has such a large following and is aspiring to be a serious journalist, how does she not know that more people than just her 15 y/o fan base will see this?
That's the kind of thing you text to your best friend at 2 a.m. because you're whiny, not yell out on twitter.

Can someone please drop an "at least you're..." positivity bomb on her that she thinks people crave to gain perspective? What even... To hell with your year abroad Eve, you've spent months in Germany giving duck all damn about the pandemic and because of the carelessness of people like you, the continent and the UK and everywhere else is still struggling. I bet she thinks Covid is managable just because she recovered fine. I am terrified of my parents and family and even myself catching the virus despite being cautious because you can only prepare so much when others aren't taking it seriously. Just sit tf down, follow the rules and zip your wine hole for a change? People who have been dealing with unemployment, loss of loved ones, financial crisis and unsafe homes are handling this better than this spoilt little child. I cannot wrap my head around it.

She’s lucky she’s home, I have a friend in Italy who now can’t come back to the UK for Christmas.

Half of me wants Eve to somehow get to Spain next month, just so we’re spared her moaning about how hard done by she feels!

Also I haven’t seen Jack Edwards moaning on Twitter, I think he’s stuck in London now on his own for xmas. At least he has the self awareness to not complain excessively.

unfortunately there’s nothing ironic about it and she generally believes it

You’d think she was the first ever person to do a year abroad. She certainly acts like she’s the first northern person to have been to oxford

Nope - my nearest city is Birmingham and no one has ever considered me Northern! The only people I have ever met who considered Birmingham and the Black Country to be Northern were those who thought anything above London was the North. I do wonder if it's anything to do with her presenting herself as hard done by - I have friends with strong Northern accents who have gone to Oxford and had quite judgemental comments about it.

I’ve just been looking at some of the old posts. In the midst of a global pandemic and the worst public health crisis for a century, I am astounded by how self-absorbed, entitled and attention seeking she seems. Many people have lost loved ones, faced redundancy and not seen relatives for months. A bit of compassion for those who are in far worse situations would not go amiss. The constant ‘woe is me’ is tiresome and shows a complete lack of awareness of the present circumstances.

Yet she was just complaining about all the "hate" she's getting in her comments/replies to tweets etc. Personally I use tattle as a way to vent about people instead of posting in peoples comment sections ... so which would she rather her viewers do?
and how is she gonna say it's stalking when these influencers are literally paid to share the minutiae of their days with the internet, everything I know about you is rit you've deemed interesting enough to share on your public platform eve luv 😭

It is literally a REQUIREMENT for her degree to spend a full year abroad. If you're studying abroad for a non languages degree then its not a requirement but for her degree it is. She can't pause it because God knows how many years pandemics can last.
