It is a requirement for languages degrees to go abroad. However, I'm sure the university's academic standards/regulation committee has already met to waive that requirement for this year group. My undergraduate that I finished over summer had a requirement for number of days fieldwork completed and we were granted an exception for our year and the year below that we didn't have to complete the mandatory fieldwork because people weren't able to complete it. A year group a few years previously had their field work requirement reduced due to a suicide in the year which affected most of the students. These requirements are surprisingly flexible when it comes to emergencies.

Yeah, but most unis are putting extra measures in place because it's a PANDEMIC. Year abroad travel has been deemed essential travel by my uni, but my boyfriend isn't going to go because he realises it's a pandemic and he can always travel after he graduates. Unis are aware of the situation; mine are putting in extra classes, giving students special circumstances, etc. Oxford would not kick off if Eve didn't go; they'd understand because it's a bleeping pandemic. Instead she just decided she was above the rules and complained the whole way through. Self-entitled beyond belief, and does not recognise her privilege.
When I was a languages student, it was encouraged and expected but not actually compulsory - there were half a dozen mature students in my year and they weren’t forced to choose between uprooting their lives and families or getting to finish the course and graduate, so it’s not even a requirement in non-pandemic times.
She's right that all pain is relative or whatever. But that's not what people are mad about. They're mad about how she constantly complains all day on social media about how bad things are for her to her followers who are probably in worse situations, which just shows a lack of consideration.
I think most of these 'influencers' need to be grateful for what they have and that they're able to spend time with family at Christmas. Eve complaining that she's got to spend Christmas in her 'old box room' in Birmingham at least she's with her family whereas some people are unable to and have to spend Christmas on their own.
Everyone in my household are key workers & there's not a single day where we've got a day off together even on Christmas Day. But we understand we're in better situations then others.

Yes, I understand it must be annoying but there's people who are in worse situations and they're in better situations then plenty of other people at least they've got an income coming in whereas others have lost jobs or lost their lives due to Covid.

Sorry but I have family in the EU if something were to happen to anyone in my family we wouldn't be able to go out to them now, yet Eve has a stress rash because she can't go and work in a bar in the south of Spain which she hadn't even planned yet even though she was expecting to go in January.
I so wanted Birmingham to go into tier 4.
A requirement?!! You would’ve thought that for science students lab work is a requirement, but that’s cancelled. We are in the middle of a pandemic things are different at the moment!!
In her latest video she says how she is keeping all her heels and bags because she will be able to wear them after lockdown, she says she can’t imaging using these bags again because of the pandemic but It’s not going to last forever. It’s the same when she keeps on saying “when we can go out again and do x y z” like she hasn’t just spend 5 months abroad doing whatever the duck she wants!! It really pissed me off when she said “I’ve not been dressed up for months” when she literally did a get ready with me on her channel and has shown going out to pubs and restaurants in vlogs.
The amount of times she says “basically” and “because” where she puts such an emphasis on the end of the word, she’s literally trying to force her brummie accent.

Apart from if you want to apply to Oxbridge, to anywhere for Vet, Med, Dent or to a Conservatoire in which case you missed the boat a couple of months ago but you carry on advertising a product that you never used.

I’m in my bed watching tv in London whilst my partner is with his parents in Wales. We’ve seen each other three times this year so that people like Eve can enjoy freedom of movement.
I swear this is literally not allowed? It’s one day mixing in all tiers (except 4) and that day was yesterday. Clearly doesn’t care. Disgusting.
She thinks she can because her sister is under 18 so I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) she can mix between the two houses.
