Josh has a bloody nose so Erin took him to Ed to get checked out and the dr there said he wasn’t moving like he should be.

that bought Rach back to the same convo they had re Mak.. thankfully neuro checked him over and whilst they know he doesn’t have sma Rach was really traumatized (understandably!)

he’s hyper mobile but her neuro friend from schr came straight down to look him over
Josh woke with a blood nose, so they took him to ED. While there, one of the drs said Josh wasn’t moving enough/wasn’t moving typically. This was quite triggering for Rachael and Jonny, as it was the same words used with Mackenzie and lead to her diagnosis.
Rachael texted their neurologist, who came down to ED and saw them. Josh has hypermobility in his hips, so could do with some physio, but also Rachael needs to just put him down more and give him more time on the floor.
She said given their history, she’s quite quick to pick Josh up if he cries etc, rather than leaving him
Thank you both! I can imagine that must have been heartstopping for them both.

So I think I get where she’s coming from, I wouldn’t want tests to be done on my child unless I was clear on what the intent was. But I just wonder why it’s not clear, like surely that could come from a conversation with the specialist? Maybe it’s not that easy. But I’d be asking what did they hope to learn from the tests, what are the hypothesis, what will be done with the learnings.

Seriously what the actual FUCK is her problem.

- Daughter is born with epilepsy.

--> Advised to have surgery as she is drug resistant and this gives her a shot at living a normal life.

--> Advised to have surgery ASAP as it is contained to one lobe and is an option whilst the other lobe is mostly unaffected.

--> Advised there is a time constraint and it will eventually affect the other lobe making surgery no longer an option.

--> Waits 3 years "making her decision" because it is "barbaric" to have the surgery. Waits until seizures reach a critical point before deciding they should probably go ahead.

...Oh no- the other lobe is affected?! And now surgery is off the table?! And now the neurosurgeon won't continue to see us?! What do you mean there is no other treatment option?????? The AUDACITY of the medical team. Australia is ARCHAIC.

Guess we should probably go overseas 🤷‍♀️ for brain surgery 🤷‍♀️ because Australia is so far behind in medical advancements 🤷‍♀️.

Spoiler alert: Of course she will ask for funds and bitch the entire time about how Australia refuses to treat her daughter because her epilepsy is "too advanced" and she has been failed by the medical system and all the children's hospitals.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You have sumed this up perfectly.

Anyone listened to Jade and Rachel on their latest podcast appearance? So evident why they are no longer associated with Erin

The mum is a crunchy, all natural, snake oil lunatic who, if I’m remembering correctly, gave birth at home because she didn’t trust hospitals and it was speculated that during the birth the baby was denied oxygen resulting in the brain injury. Anywho, the account was just so tragic and the poor little thing was trotted out by her unhinged mum in such an undignified way that I had to stop following. At any rate, she just came to mind the other day and I was wondering what her fate was. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I’m only asking here because I would have heard about the account initially from tattle.
I just had a look at her profile. Yea crunchy af but her daughter was born without parts of her brain, I don’t think you get that from a birth injury, that’s an in utero thing. Looks to be a lovely story actually of them fighting to save her and yes she’s still alive.

How come it's funny when Tom had a tantrum or 'carries on like a banshee' in Erin's words , but devastating, abnormal, sad etc when Lu doesn't like something or has a tantrum? That poor kid is always looked at through a deficit lense 💔
Yes! Came here to say exactly this!

I just did a quick search of tattle threads and she’s actually mentioned earlier in this thread, starting here…
This will give you a little overview.
