What she has said on insta stories? Not stepping through and being lazy is probably down to having to carry to much weight and not knowing the actual aids for going forward. If the horse has to work hard to carry the rider they are bound to not step through. And I highly doubt I would be willing to go forward if someone kept nagging at me when I was doing what they asked in the first place. She seriously need a decent instructor who will teach her you take your leg off once the horse has gone forward so they are being rewarded for doing as you asked, and hopefully they will also scream at her for yanking the horse in the mouth every stride. The poor horse must be so confused being constantly jabbed with spurs and asked to go while being yanked in the mouth and asked to stop at the same time.
Totally this I was riding last night for the first time in two weeks and caught myself niggling with my legs and just completely took my legs away

I’m pretty sure most of us have been guilty of it. RTG seems a lovely girl that just wants the best for her horse. She also has so much potential to improve her riding she just needs to loose a bit of weight and have some lessons with a decent instructor. I’m not saying she need to loose weight to be nasty more for the horses sake, if she is happy with her weight then she seriously needs to consider giving up riding or finding a horse more suitable to carry her weight.

She claims she used to be, but I’m sure replies further up also say she’s not wimpy at all. It’s great if it helps people over come their wimpyness though and have a confidence boost from one of her camps. They are however a bleeping fortune and way more then I would want to spend on one especially as I have no idea who the instructors, they could be totally wrong for me, meaning almost £400 down the drain.
I know her, she used to work for me. All a bloody front not a wimp at all!!!

I feel her channel has so much potential a plus size mum with Her first horse on diy livery that’s so relatable! (I wouldn’t even say she’s that large there are many horses that would happily carry her peeps just has the wrong conformation with a long back in my opinion)

Has anyone watched Erin's recent video with her new horse in Spain?

I don't know much about liberty horses/ liberty training but I found it quite hard to watch... he looks very tense and worried?! Isn't liberty supposed to be about harmony and relaxation?

I also think it sets a bad example to younger people/children watching for her to be handling a stallion she barely knows, in a style she is new to, without wearing a helmet, gloves or proper attire. We see the horse kick out multiple times in the video when he is confused at what is being asked of him... I'm worried when she gets him back to the UK she will be out of her depth (not knocking her per say but he doesn't exactly look like an easygoing stallion who will take it all in his stride) and she will be too focused on the aesthetics of it all that she'll get really hurt!

I can’t stand Erin. I’m not a violent person but every time I see a video of her being dragged around by her horse in her white trainers, I wish a hoof would make contact with her foot to teach her a lesson about wearing appropriate clothing for dealing with a horse that clearly has zero respect for her. 😤

it baffles me how big accounts like Bethsen can go on not disclosing ads when she’s got deals with so many brands in her pictures? Do they not get banned or something for that?!

Total turn around here, but ThisEsmes video about Karlswood popped up for me there so gave it a watch… Cian is a great rider but so much controversy surrounds him regarding doping and her and her followers are thinking he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Also feeds the total wrong grain to forage ratio - wonder how much Gastrogard he goes through 😂

She has to be like that 😂 even if she wasn’t a massive fan she has to be one for youtube especially if one of her sponsors is paying her.

I can't stand Erins horse sorry...... its as if she went out there determined to spend parents money and just chose one despite none of them looking suitable. I don't like this liberty thing either. Im assuming there are instructors of it somewhere here...

why doesn't she concentrate on dressage - is she scared of getting back out there?. her horse Gee I don't like how he goes at all although I think he's a very good looking horse.

you have to report them to the ASA Instagram et al don’t police it

reporting is easy quick and anonymous

If no one reports it, the ASA can't do anything. Report it! I report accounts to them all the time as I also run an online business and declare all my ads; they should too.

I watched this. I found it very uncomfortable. If you follow Matt Harnacke, he's started a business importing PREs and retraining them, and he'd commented on how cruel the training methods are. I've seen it myself in the classical world in Portugal. I think that sadly shows in her new grey stallion. However, I do think she'll give him a good life over here and she has the money to get a good instructor to help.

Sometimes I wonder why Esme is so popular. Her channel is so repetitive and currated.

She never shows the real highs or lows that come with horses.

Oh ray what you did wrong was beat your horse and shout when there was no need why not sit quietly and encourage her into the fence ? You shouldn’t be allowed to carry a stick or wear spurs

Wow that’s uncomfortable viewing.
it’s painful to watch! smacking the poor horse on the neck and it’s no surprise she ducks out away from it!!

Also i’m so tired of no one sponsored by that bedding brand disclosing their posts as ads..

Isn’t it ?? That poor horse is clearly so uncomfortable and your beating her round
Of coarse she is going to shop. Honestly whoever sponsors / endorses her I am never ever buying off.
I won’t be having any lessons off him either if he condones her riding and riding the way she does then he isn’t the instructor for me which is a shame as he isn’t a million miles away from me. He should have refused to let her ride, if it where me I would refuse to teach her as she is far to heavy for that horse and her saddle is far to small making being heavy a million times worse.

I’m not surprised she does’t want to jump when she lands like a sack of spuds on Peppers back. She needs to stop riding pepper, loose some weight and work on her balance before jumping again.
