This. Every horse I know who has had a lameness work up has gone to the vets. Not had the vet come out to them
I’ve had them done at home trot up lunge on hard/soft flexions nerve blocks ridden by usual and professional rider X-rays

I’ve mostly gone in back in the old days pre digital X-rays or if scintigraphy is needed or referral to orthopaedic specialist

It can be done

Ahh ok thanks.
Anyone seen LOTB stories about ASA, sounds like a tit show.

To be honest has anyone seen anyone else (other than a heavier rider) on Pepper? There's a study showing how heavier riders can induce lameness on a sound horse. Not fat shaming as I haven't seen anything other than a couple of quick reels of RTG, so I haven't seen this lameness. Also I don't know if RTG is under the 15-20% rule. Pepper does look a chunky mare though, so should be able to carry her fine. But maybe there's a weakness, rather than a lameness that a heavier rider is highlighting? I'll link the study below....

Pepper is more than chunky she’s bleeping obese and it’s not healthy for her, makes me wonder if that has an ill effect on her joints and can be one of the many causes of her lameness.

I don’t believe that for a second. Yes she was never severely lame but she was more than subtlety lame in the videos I saw on her instagram. It would be very interesting to see Pepper doing all the stuff she claimed she had done to her and see how lame or not lame she was. And is there instances where a horse can be lame on a circle of soft ground but not hard?
And changing the subject could the horse be Vossi??
I bet she's bought Pete a horse so he can come out hacking with her!

Yes deffo. Not only is Pepper having to carry RTG's extra weight, but her own too. People always think fat chunky horses are weight carriers, but they can actually carry less weight if they're overweight themselves.

Making your horse obese therefore increasing the rider weight limit is immoral

Well she’s guaranteed to never be involved with them ever again. Tell them to shove their subscription

I'm not surprised that folks are speaking up about it honestly, ASA has been awful so far. Dressage from home, no edu content really in the riding sections and definitely some tense moments that are edited really poorly to try to create drama, but make Talland and H&C look pretty poor & old-school. The elimination aspect works if these are already top/mid-level riders and they're just there to compete, but I thought they were meant to be learning?

Edu and fun aspects are completely gone, which is super upsetting. I'm also a little upset for Tina (pls don't shoot me :p). It feels like they've ripped a bunch of her out for timing's sake, and that's prob a bit sad for her =[

Seen it and I don’t think she’s saying every little detail. Sounds like a sore looser to me who has been told exactly why she was no longer reserve.
I would imagine the rumour about her telling everyone she was going to be on it wasn't a rumour after all. She got told she was a reserve, booked the time off of work and then told everyone she was going to be on it. Then got told actually no you're not.

It definitely feels like there should have been more of Tina and editing her out that way makes her look like she was just hanging around for funsies

The editing seemed shoddy, all the guests were seen just sitting there before they were mentioned or explained/introduced: Tina, Esme, Pippa Hutton. I've liked the other series. I HATE the elimination, it makes no sense and is so backwards. Was awkward and didn't make good telly.
It's always been badly produced/edited, seems a lot more amateurish than most of our vlogger friends could do.

If she did tell people and it got back to H&C when she was supposed to keep it quite then they probably have every right to turn around and say actually no we don’t want you on anymore.

God this! You would think with the budgets they have they'd hire some bloody better editors and set dressers, the ad placements and sit down sections look godawful

I would be absolutely MORTIFIED if I was taking a horse out, after what .... 8 weeks in work after having a foal (?) to go full throttle, and it looked this bloody distressed and sad.

Going off everyone’s reviews of the ASA series so far, I have no reason to doubt LOTB’s story tbh. Sounds like a tit show from start to finish!

She’s an awful example of a equestrian
All her horses look miserable whilst she does some all smile poses for the camera

Gave in and did a free trial of H&C so I could watch more episodes! Disappointing that the first elimination happens so quickly when they've barely even done any riding so far. Not really surprised that Joanna was the first to go, she's more inexperienced/ immature than I had picked up thru Instagram

I agree. It’s not being a sore loser at all it’s about calling out big companies crappy behaviour of people. I hope to see more of it.
good for Jess. She has gone up in my estimation. Honest and also not afraid to speak out when things aren’t right.
unlike Tina, Meg , Lucy and all that bullshit they post. They basically would sell their grandmas for a free diet drink.
