Exactly. She looks like a competent enough amateur, which is fine if that's what you are. But her skill set doesn't match that of a 4* rider.

Also, I looked back and the vlog I meant was her 2nd 4* on Zeb - untacking at the end.
You can have ridden at a level but it doesn't make you established at that level (if that makes sense). I have ridden to 3* but I would class myself as a reasonably competent amateur but I would not call myself a 3* rider!

Anyone find it odd that Meg hasn't weaned Ettie from Millie yet? She's nearly a year old!
I think Millie will be sold and Ettie weaned that way. She must be needing space for her new horse. Haven't heard anything about Ari either. Saw Lucy on Winnie a day or so ago.
I really miss the old style vlogs - lately it's all product placement or just DD and Jam.

Meg being gifted stuff from equi ami is firstly the ultimate whine until you get what you want, but also such a contrast from her early vlogs where she said she never used gadgets, strong bits/nosebands, martingales etc
Exactly this! So unrelatable isn’t she now. It’s really to a point now where the gifts are random, mattress, bike, fresh food etc. literally hard to watch them all now.

I watched Miri’s video on groundwork with Jam and it was mentioned in that Miri had done some groundwork with Ari that day and it sounded like he’s quite reactive and sensitive from how certain things were phrased. I reckon whatever work is being done or not being done with Ari will be kept off social media.

I also noticed Lucy was riding Winnie in a racing saddle

In today’s never ending drama with Munchausen Mummy, she waffles on about Bean possibly being lame. Gee you think?! The pony was lame last week, too you useless woman. I’m specifically referring to the clip they posted of her being lunged where MM wonders if maybe she’s lame (spoiler: she was). Smh

It seems like they don’t have much in the way of solid, experienced trainers helping them because all of their ridden horses look uncomfortable.

The pony's not been right since it arrived but they continued to ride and jump her. Hardly surprising she's now so sore she can no longer be pushed through. I can't bare their pages full of waffle and hyperbolic description of Frankie's wonderous ability despite severe illness .. so why does Insta keep suggesting it to me 😤

I’m just so confused, where is the vet? They’ve been worried or concerned so get the vet out. One that specialises in lameness.

She’s kicked out in transitions since they got her, surely even the most oblivious person can’t miss that. Plus yah know, they have five horses or so?!

But no, they put on their matchy matchy free clothes and jump and canter around 😭.

Anyone experience a little pound coin size lump appearing at the top of horses leg ? It’s hard to touch - he’s not sore not fussed about me looking at it etc he’s 27 year old grey so wondering a melanoma ? He’ll get his injections this month so will get vet to give it a once over too

Anyone noticed that Ally Wilson, aka Equiially never discloses Ads/gifted stuff?? Seems to be kitted out by Mackey Ireland, Veredus, Packhorse IE ect but rarely ever actually says so! How difficult is it to note it's been gifted, makes you doubt their authenticity if they can't even be up front about little things like that 😵💫

So it says here that the she hasn’t had a correct way of going for a year but they have been riding her since Jan and she was turned away for another 4 months before that? So it’s their doing then?
I can’t be arsed to trawl back through all her misery posts about this pony.

I’m confused by this as well. So have they been riding a pony they know is lame???

The whole "we won't fail her, it's our job to listen"
At this point I'm sure the mother loves ponies and kids being ill, she thrives off. I know I've said this before but I can't get over how the whole poor pony, poor child, rehabbing, recovering is the whole personality.

Considering they didn’t do a pre purchase exam on the pony, I don’t feel sorry for her. That’s just really stupid. Why this pony when there are heaps of quality ponies available to buy?
With this kind of info I can’t see any other explanation than wanting a lameness/training/whatever project to gain sympathy.
They’re not first time owners so it’s not even excuse of not knowing any better.
The other people on here like Meg, etc are just kind of eye roll inducing with little ploys to get more views and money.Frankie’s mum on the other hand is scary and mentally not right.

I was going to quote one of the Esme posts but thread was full.....my 9 year old likes her vlogs and I'm comfortable with her watching them. She hasn't asked for a lemieux saddle pad yet 🙄. I get how the vlogs aren't everyone's thing, but I find her likeable and harmless. I've enjoyed some of them too, but yes, she can come across awkward when interviewing. Makes her relatable?!
Anyway, I don't show my daughter Harlow or Frankie's ponies, and she's not interested in VE squad. Esme works for that age I think and isn't problematic in the way the blogging kids/mums often are
Esme has a massive tween following; my daughter and her friends adore her.

I don’t know anything about breeding really but I thought Marley would be wayyyy more expensive to use
£800 is on the expensive side of normal tbf. He’s not done a 5* for example, and is currently competing at Novice I believe?

Yes I’ve got a friend who has bred a mare to a Billy horse. Hasn’t paid much for than that for a proven horse.
