What an idiot. Like beggars belief 
For people that spend their life online how they can claim they didn't know is beyond me when all the rules are so readily available in so many places. Am I surprised she has been in contact with someone who is positive? - not at all given that a lot of influencers have seemingly been acting as if its been business as normal whilst the majority of people have continued to be conscientious of what they are doing. Even if her area hadn't of gone into tier 4 she would have still missed out on mixing at Christmas due to needing to self isolate!!
This is what I don’t get and it applies to so many issues, not just COVID guidance. There are endless resources online for everything, ignorance is just not acceptable especially in this instance. Especially as you say, she spends a large part of her day online
She's "woke" and she's all about resources and jumping on the bandwagon when it suits her and her SM image. Not when it affects her actual daily life and her exercise regime.
Tbf to her she is better than most influencers, from what we see she follows the guidance on socialising (ie social distance walks, hasn’t met people inside unless it’s when she was in tier 1/when lockdown first lifted), plus she only seems to have gone to the gym and getting her nails done which are relatively low risk as there are measures in place! But still possible as my eyebrow lady recently caught it despite being covered in PPE when with clients.
However I refuse to believe she didn’t know that she wasn’t allowed out for a walk, surely she’s seen people online self isolating and not leaving the house, surely Tim would know she’s not allowed for a walk either

Yeah she’s definitely had a few trips away and days out in London.
I laughed when I saw that she’d been exposed. Not because she might have it but that only now did she get a notification like that.

I feel like with the nails - a lot of nail techs are self employed so whilst it may seem unessessary, it is their only source of income for a lot of beauticians, as the government are pretty useless - why not go get your nails done if they’re open? Help out a struggling industry! There are precautions in place to make it a safe environment, I’ve been to get my nails and eyebrows done and was planning on booking in extra treatments, more to help them out as they have been struggling financially this year. That’s £40 in a nail techs pocket that the government wouldn’t be giving themI laughed when I saw that she’d been exposed. My country’s borders are closed, so my airline can’t fly. Not saying beauticians don’t deserve to eat but... it is an unnecessary luxury at the moment. Fair enough you want to support your favourite nail tech to do your bit to make sure they can live, however she gets her nails done almost weekly it seems like. Maddening.

when we’ve suffered through her eating apples for weeks!Yes but the government have obviously deemed it safe to be able to get cosmetic treatments done, even in tier 3 so if they’re allowed to work why shouldn’t you go and see them and get a treatment? I agree it’s not essential but for some people it’s a pick me up and it’s also a some people’s source of income - especially as majority of the south of England was suddenly put in a strict lockdown with 7 hours notice, and at Christmas it is one of the busiest times of year - that is money they now can’t earn, especially when they’re self employed, they won’t know when they’re next going to get income because we don’t know when we’re coming out of a lockdown. My eyebrow lady has lost a lot of clients due to being made redundant so the more treatments she does the better. It’s not as simple as getting another job in the mean time because job availability is quite low at the momentNah... I can’t get behind that argument. It’s an industry that’s purely cosmetic. I think it’s probably not the fact alone that she’s getting her nails done. It’s the combination of lots of all the things she’s been doing, almost daily.
I got covid from going to a spin class.... the class had screens up between each bike, everyone is temperature checked on entry, it was all within the guidelines. I think there’s nothing wrong with doing things like this that are within the guidelines once or twice a week. We do have to live, the economy can’t fall to pieces, we can’t be locked inside forever. You just have to use all the precautions, and recognise there is always risk.
However, she was definitely pushing the limits of how many things you should do in any given week which meant she had excessive contact with others. For me it was so easy to know what gave me the exposure because it was the only exposure I had in 10 days. She likely didn’t have a clue which of the many places or people she’d been in contact with that gave her the exposure.

as someone with chronic illnesses, god forbid she tests positive and gets long covid symptoms, her whole content with doing 90 min workouts would be down the drain
