How fucking patronizing. Emma, there’s a way to tell someone they got something right without having to be such a passive-aggressive ass about it, especially when you’re talking to someone who’s clearly a fan.

That new venue is something I’d expect a part time pub band to play at… not someone who claims to be a musician as their main career… 😂😂. I reckon a local kids play would sell that out quicker.
The venue has 1 big stage + 2 little rooms which it advertises for "lesser known acts" which y'know would usually be people have a normal full time job and a band on the side not a lass whose got an album out 😅 bet she's raging shes not on the big stage - i've been to a small metal night with a bigger standing space than that

She was spending hundreds on designer skirts and band tees when she was trying to be Sammie Jefcoate after the album flopped so there was no way she was skint. She literally only cares about fame. It seems like she’s trying to pass the blame. She does this a lot. Changes her image and her passion and then going on to say “this isn’t the real me...someone else was forcing me to be this” everytime her attempt to get mainstream famous doesn’t work.

She still lies about her “charting” now. I remember she claimed she’d outsold the Killers and the 1975 and someone else...all who got No1 in the charts...with her most recent EP...which was bull.

Also she says her and Davey were already together in October 2018... the same month his wife tweeted saying she missed him. So she was the other woman. Classy. Again just be honest.

can we see the “horrible” message?

Bear in mind, this person can be rather rude and cruel and generally just a toxic piece of shit, and I wouldn’t blame them for going off on Emma, but instead, they took the high road, at least for their standards. This is by far the nicest and most mature I’ve ever see them behave and I can’t believe this is what set Emma off.

Like every homewrecker she’s making excuses to make herself feel better. At the end of the day, she was sleeping with a married man, and she tried to hide that fact for as long as she could because she knew deep down that she was in the wrong. She could have broken it off as soon as she found out, or waited until “the divorce was finalized” (going off her version of events here even though it’s clear that was a big fat lie), or any other of the numerous options she had, yet she couldn’t help herself and made the conscious choice to be a homewrecker. But sure, let’s go with “anyone who says something I don’t like is just a hater spreading lies”, whatever helps her sleep at night.

how bitter do we think she's feeling that "real world good" dodie played a packed show in the Hammersmith Apollo the other night?

edit: and Hazel Hayes has a so far successful career as a writer. Jack Howard is directing ads and heading to bigger things as well. Almost as if they're actually talented and work hard.

I remember 2019 she went on and on about performing at an outdoor gig and when photos were posted there was like 15 people there.

The photos were all over guru gossip
Also this video was from the same performance if I'm correct 😅

Just watching her latest video... I really hated the comments she made about how YouTube has gone from a 'loving community' to 'people tearing each other down'. Especially as some of the examples she had for the latter were of people tearing her down. The issue she actually has is that vlog-style, bedroom-sitting-down content isn't as prevalent anymore, the best creators on the platform are making introspective video essays, deep dives on topics or even just low-budget videos on what they're passionate about. Nobody really cares about 'daily life' content anymore, and that's what Emma is.

Creators that have survived either:
A) like Zoella - to an extent, she's just an example I thought of - had a big enough audience previously that stuck with her as they grew up because she addressed more 'adult' topics (like the sex toys on her website)
or B) changed with the times.

Emma has done neither. She keeps making the same content she did in 2014 and expecting the platform to still work the way it used to. She's pretty much missed the boat on breaking out of YouTube into the mainstream like Dodie/Tessa/Orla; and her constant rebranding, whilst being a symptom of her mental illness (which I sympathise with), alienates her old fans - like me - and bars new ones from getting into her content and really understanding who she is as a person and what she can offer as a creator.

She comes across as old, tired and bitter (and no Emma that's not me tearing you down, it's an honest take on what's happened with you and your channel and why you aren't successful on the platform like others are).

I'm interested to listen to her new song though, mostly to see whether it's going back to her 2016 Sucks To Be You sound (which I loved, she was actually the first person I saw live and I will always love that EP just because it reminds me of that concert), or if it's more like her 2018 stuff (jesus that was a long time ago), which was horrible.

Also I used to be very active on Emma's GG thread back a couple years ago so I feel like I've really seen all sides of her, and honestly she seems even sadder recently than she used to be.

Also sorry for double posting but apparently she’s going on a long rant on Twitter about “oh it’s not ME who’s deleting negative comments on my music videos, maybe I’m just not getting as much criticism as you HATERS think I am” but it’s just like??? No wonder people are out here thinking you get a lot of hate since you can’t help but respond to every. Single. Comment. that isn’t fully sucking your ass, meanwhile fans who are trying to get your attention and show their support of you get ignored unless you have something to promote, in which case she does some lazy retweets and a half-hearted q-and-a. If someone so much as breathes wrong in her direction they get multiple tweets, but fans who buy all her shit and support her financially just get a half hearted thanks at best. Yet she’s confused why people think she’s deleting hate comments? It’s cuz you focus your life so much on them that people would think they’re the majority of the comments you get, not the minority. Man she’s so entitled…

Who wants to take bets on how long this “I’m accepting of criticism” phase will last before she’s back to searching out every vaguely-negative comment she can find so she can have an excuse to be bitchy to them? Cuz my bet is six weeks, tops.

(PS— Emma, if you actually want to take accountability for once, start by admitting you were the other woman and knowingly dating a married man, or are you still in denial about that?)

What the fuck is going on with his hair. It's like something out of The Last of Us.

Also the way she's posing on that clip amused me. Gotta be the centre of attention.

She’s out here still referring to the three shows she’s gonna do next year as a “tour” 🙄 if that’s a tour, then me getting up to go take a shit is an epic journey. Just because three shows happen to take place within a few days of each other doesn’t make it a tour, it’s just three shows.

Also, just checked and she hasn’t updated her banner image on Twitter with the new show dates. Considering how much time she has to stalk former fans and search her own name over and over, she could take some time to edit some dates on an image, or even just replace it with something else entirely. Ah, the priorities of Emma…

Couples who have to prove to others that their relationship is so "great and healthy and happy!!! Look at us, we are so in love" are the ones who are falling apart behind closed doors. It's blatantly obvious that Emma is desparate to prove to others how "good" things are and it makes it even more embarassing.

Like we don't know what happened in 2018/2019... 🤢

It's like she's trying to remind us all that she was popular once but in the weirdest way. Surely it's embarrassing that the Google+ song is her most well known? Why keep bringing it up??

Her voice just isn’t very good. It’s not strong. She has a weird warble to it that in my opinion needs to be worked at to be removed..
I think warble is the right word… I have no idea how to explain it but its a weak voice and as far as we are aware, she doesn’t do anything to even better herself musically.
she has assumed that because she had some sort of platform that she’s easily be able to just, like people have said, make an easy cash grab. Not how the industry works. Pick a ‘phase’. Stick to it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
How are people going to be a fan of your music when it’s constantly changing and a fan of you when you’re constantly changing. People don’t know her well enough for her to delete ever trace of her before each phase and then to constantly slate her phase before.
It’s so frustrating. She knows nothing.
