Also this got lost in the shuffle but the fact that Emma thinks that reaching out to personally apologize to people she’s hurt is “barging back into their lives” really says a lot about how she views apologies and how she doesn’t understand the actual purpose of an apology. Of course, this could also be an excuse for her not to have to apologize to anyone, but I don’t know which is worse.

Like, Emma, you can really just make an apology and leave it at that. The apology isn’t for you, it’s for them, its to express remorse for your actions and to tell the other person that you know you did them wrong, it’s not a way to get back into peoples lives, and the fact you think this way is alarming, if not disturbing.

I also just downloaded the two videos, the one where she says she’s bi and then the one where she says she’s never been anything but straight, in case she’s reading here and takes them down. She has yet to learn the internet is forever and she can’t get away with lying if she doesn’t have the memory to keep track of all her lies.

The weirdest thing about her goth phase, to me, is how suddenly she jumped into it, while at the same time clearly not having yet worked out what she wants her look to be exactly. Like she just plonked on all the most cliche goth clothing items without putting her own personal spin on anything. Especially at first, she'd wear the same outfits over and over, her makeup looks very unpolished... you'd think if she was interested in dressing more goth she'd start gradually, incorporate new accessories, experiment with makeup... but no, she just tries to immediately adopt a whole new persona, and it looks so unnatural. That just highlights how unhealthy her behaviour is.

So (apologies for the triple post but...meh) I managed to make it about half way through her new video, and honestly it's one of the biggest pieces of utterly pointless wank I think I've ever seen. I dont really count myself as a big Smiths fan either, I like a few tracks and that's about it. But Jesus wept.

Like most artists when they do a cover of one of their favourite songs will either be really reverent and try to cover it as closely as possible, or they will put a new and unique sound to it. Emma literally turns it into an emma blackery track. Complete with nasal wailing, and an actual tantrum in the video. If you told me she wrote this abomination I'd actually believe you with how much it sounds like something she shat out and not Morrissey.

I would give the other tracks a punt but she already showed them off already, and the only one out of the entire lot I could possibly tap my foot to if it came on at burger King would be Crying. The rest just got progressively worse and this my dear friends is the zenith. I honestly don't know where she can go from here.

The mad thing about the whole Davey situation is that everyone fucks up, love is complicated. If Emma just admitted that she fell in love with a man who was married and acted selfishly if she expressed a molecule of regret about the way she went about everything I'd have so much more respect for her. If she just owned her fuck ups and said "we had an affair, the way we went about it was wrong but I was in love it was exciting and I wasn't thinking about the people we would hurt." But she can't she has to keep up with this lie that they were already separated because she wants to pretend to be perfect when she clearly isn't because nobody is.

We'll have to see what the future holds and how she writes about it in songs

We know that when they inevitably do break up she’ll be blaming him for “forcing” her into that style, for her latest album flopping, for her content being non-existent, the whole nine yards, just trying to make everyone feel sorry for her (despite her knowingly hooking up with a married man), just for her to start the cycle all over again when she gets a new boyfriend. Look at what she’s done to Luke, saying he forced her into being a vegan and blaming him for her not eating well while being vegan (despite her being a grown ass adult who has google and can easily look up foods that are both vegan and got her dietary requirements but oh well, why put in the effort when you can just blame someone else). Honestly surprised they didn’t split years ago but I guess the pandemic restricted Dreads Boy in the cheating and hooking up department.
