Did Megan Fox actually turn up to that boohoo event? I didn't think she would, but I just watched her vlog and Emily said they were waiting for her? But I couldn't tell if it was a joke. The event looked quite lacklustre!

I found this thread last night and had to join because I used to know her. She is fake and manipulative in my opinion but I suppose when you work in marketing you kind of have to be. What annoys me is how she goes on about this perfect relationship online yet she complained he was starting to be manipulative and started talking about where she can and cant go and what to wear and that she'd put on weight and what money shes spending etc. And that she always has to pay for everything and that he's cheap basically. When she was drunk once on a work night out she told me she might aswel get with some random because she was convinced hed cheated on her anyway. She used to say her ex was very toxic too. So just shows you cant believe what people put on insta although he doesn't look like the typ to treat her like that but i guess you never know. Anyway although I think shes fake hope shes ok i did feel sorry for her but at the same time its hard to know what the truth is and whats not with her.

Totally agree. I think my boss would wonder what the hell was up if I wore leather leggings to work! And it’s like she has to wear Spanx and bodysuits under everything, I don’t know what other people do but I don’t want to have to stuff myself into Spanx every day, I’d rather just dress to flatter what I actually look like. Spanx to me is for special occasions!

Definitely would be getting some funny looks and I do actually make an effort in the office but leather look leggings would definitely raise some eyebrows.

I never wear Spanx or the primark Spanx unless I have a dress on that clings to my tummy. Even then I feel like it just moves the tummy fat upwards and I end up feeling really uncomfortable.

I would love to see more styles, maybe doing her own twist on outfits that skinny models/influencers are wearing and doing her take on a mid size/plus size version. I just don’t think I can take any more of the cheap looking clothes anymore.

Clothing sizing is so different for everyone & she’s very petite. She’s had stuff in 14 & 16s and been upfront I don’t think she’d mislead.

I go between a 10 & 12 but I’m really tall & look so different to friends who wear the same size!

Different sizes do look different on different people, people will hold fat in other area, height, how much muscle you have. I don't mean to dissuade you from losing weight at all, but I do think it's why people shouldn't actually compare their body to anyone elses because someone could easily wear a 12 and look different to another person wearing a 12 because of many factors. Sizes are just general like you said, but they aren't an exact science and more than often based on a certain body type and the rest of the us just have to subscribe to it.
I do think Emily squeezes herself into stuff, but also think she does fit some 12 stuff. Even though she's put on weight her belly has remained quite fflat so things would fit differently on her as it does to someone else who may gain weight elsewhere.


Also (and this isn't directed at you) but I think sometimes doctors can just be lil shits. She's free to report her experience of what her doctors said to her, but just because you also happen to be the same clothes size as her, doesn't mean you need to lose weight. Idk why her doctor told her that, but if it makes other people question whether they should lose weight think about how shocking that must have been for her. I don't think she's trying to make anyone feel bad, probably just felt shit that the doc told her that. And if there's one thing influencers love, it's good old attention that says "nooooooooooo, you are perfect"

Totally accept there will be slight variances and things may look slightly different but of the hundreds of women I've met through work, uni, school, friends etc. I've never met another lady meant to be the same size as me and It's been like night and day looking at the 2 of us

I know what you mean but I can only put it down to them shrinking over time or not being a proper size 12 in the first place. I forgot and bought the same size from a supermarket and it is big on me.

Do you guys think her boyfriend and his friends are cute? I had to laugh that people were messaging her about the guys, like laugh in a good way because I totally didn't expect that.

I think her fiancé and his mates are pretty hot to be fair Emily is a pretty girl though so I do think they’re well suited.
