It's not a real job don't go around telling people it is. My 7 year old wants to be a twitch steamer and I told him it wasn't a real job because it isn't
Very old fashioned of you 🤣
Millions are people don’t have “real jobs” but probably make more money than those in “real jobs”.

I dont know what a twitch steamer is but my 2 year old wants to be a unicorn and it beats a 9-5, so told them to go for it 🤷🏽‍♀️ 🦄

I really struggle with the idea that it’s a real job but I suppose whilst ever you’re being funded to do something then that’s a job. It’s an extremely c*** job though because the boundary between personal and private life just doesn’t exist. It’s like being on call 24 hours a day and none of it seems worth it. I keep hoping the bottom will fall out of the influencer stuff and I think the tide is turning slowly but some laws around child labour and privacy would help.

It’s tragic what happened to Trigg but it’s also extremely interesting to watch it all play out. In 5 years time I suspect she’ll have another kid or two in tow and have relaxed any previous rules she had around child exploitation.

I don't see how you can publicise your life as a parent and your child have any sense of privacy??
I don't either, but you do get some family influencers who try it and are like 'well we blur out their faces' or 'we crop them out'. I can't see her quitting as if she ends up getting a divorce, she'll probably need the income.

She's clearly investing time into legal actions - purely to protect herself and her "brand". How you do that while grieving.... duck knows.

While influencers are earning thousands and thousands off exploiting their children. There will never ever be a law passed to stop it. The government earn far too much money in taxes (in the UK at least) Same reason why smoking isn’t completely illegal, far too much money to be made in it. However you would think parents would recognise that and protect their own, evidently not.

I saw this too. Someone commented about it on her post and it got lots of likes, but looks as though it’s been removed.

Emilie's last Tik Tok before Trigg died was the same thing this other person has posted.
Who is this Liana woman? Does she follow Emilie on tik tok? So weird she’s recreated the exact post even down to the song.
