That was a hard watch with all Trigg’s things missing - toys, plates, clothes etc
All the things she’d be tidying up of his too and now never will
I don’t know how I feel about the video tbh
I feel like a lot of people will be trying to catch a glimpse of the outdoors in these videos too to see if there’s a pool fence yet

I’m shocked she looks quite well, I think I look worse on a normal day without that tragedy
I also thought this. She’s lost weight, however she had a new born when we last seen her so she will have lost weight anyway. I imagined her to be very very skinny, not eating, heavily medicated still. However I’ve never been through such heartbreak so I don’t know how I would react, especially having a baby she needs to show up for.

It’s all so soulless. She must think she has to keep going as it’s how she makes her money but she has removed everything that drew her audience in and made them feel connected. She’s clearly hoping to come back but not show her son or her husband and have certain things off limits, but will that work? There is something really grim about going back to work filming yourself hoovering and cleaning your house a few short months after your son drowned in order to keep your income stream rolling in. I think you can tell she resents having to do it but feels she has to. But she doesn’t at all. There are other ways to make money.

I know we all would have to but there is something very grim watching someone just getting on with it after her son died so tragically. Not that I expected her to have a breakdown mid tidy up. But it’s strange all the same.

She was smart with the camera angles. Didn't show the pool, didn't show Brady's side of the bed, no Teddy in frame. I think she will be more private now and show far less of Teddy than she ever did of Trigg.

There wasn’t any dogs, photos or personal stuff anywhere either and as someone said before, the house looked spotless before she even started cleaning.

So this might sound heartless but are social services involved with the youngest now?

My neighbours lost their child years ago very suddenly and tragically near their family home. She had to take away all the photos of her child from the house because she could not look at them due to complete heartbreak. They had to keep going because they had a younger child also. After 5 months they sold their house and bought elsewhere because she couldn't be near where it happened. Honestly she was never the same again. She didn't go back to work for 10 years, spent her whole time in the cemetery. It's only very recent she has been able to say his name again. Maybe all of Emilies photos are gone because she is simply so heartbroken. I find it hard as it is seeing her old videos with Trigg in them let alone her, his mother. I do agree though, very early coming back, she isn't ready but everyone is different I suppose.

Agree with all being said here. This poor woman has surely made enough money so as to be able to take more time off to herself so she doesn’t have to set up a tripod and camera to film herself hoovering an already-clean floor?

It's probably for the routine moreso than the money. There are only so many months you can sit and cry about a tragedy; at some point life must start to shape itself around the loss.

I agree, lots of people commenting how she’s back for the money etc. I’m not denying that plays a part but I think a big part of her return is about getting back into a routine and trying to create their new normal, whatever that looks like.

Sorry but 4 months?! It’s taken me longer to get over a breakup. I honestly don’t get the argument of “there are only so many months you can sit and cry”. 4 months is NOTHING

My heart honestly breaks for her, the loss of Triggs screams so loud in that video
I can't judge her for coming back at all because how does anyone try and pick themselves up after a loss so big?!I admire that she even got up out of bed....I can't even comprehend it. She's probably just trying to form some sort of normality in her head for her own sanity and healing....shes got Teddy and I suppose you have to just get on with things for the sake of your other child(ren), because..... what is right or wrong? I don't think there is in this situation. People are always going to have an opinion because she put her life online so much. In her statement from a few weeks ago she admitted a pool fence could have saved Trigg- she knows this and she accepts the guilt in the part she played of them losing Trigg. Her and Brady will never be the same again and the whole situation is utterly and totally heartbreaking- but I do think she will go down the route of educating people on pool safety- because regardless of what happened ,she loved and adored Trigg, that was plain to see. So I think she will want him to leave a legacy behind.
It's funny how her once enviable lifestyle becomes something you would never trade with her now.....
As a mum, im heartbroken for her- Triggs absence was everywhere in that video, I wouldn't be able to carry on.

She spoke of missing the community she'd created, but those people aren't her friends - they are just voyeurs into her life. A life she painted as one to aspire to. Only that life was tainted - she and her husband put the aesthetics of a garden before the safety of their children and one of them died as a result of that negligence. Cleaning an already abnormally clean house isn't going to keep that community around her for long after the initial curiosity wears off.

As a bereaved mother myself, grief is utterly toxic and can destroy you if you don't get help with it. And she strikes me as someone who isn't from that video.

I think a job is doing something which pays the bills and even though you may see it as an easy job and that influencers/streamers are lucky they ‘just’ post videos for money, it’s still emilies job so yes she will of course go back to that since it has flexibility and as a grieving mother it may make her life a bit easier. Her content will be different and she will never be the same but she has to earn money. By the way, I don’t think exchanging your privacy/ your children’s privacy for money is necessarily a good deal or morally correct …but… each to their own. I do think it’s a job though.

The whole point is that after a loss, most people are advised to try and get back into their usual “life and work routine” when they feel able to. It’s highly likely that she will be in therapy and they will have suggested this to her for when she is ready to do so.

She has suffered a monumental loss that she will live with everyday for the rest of her life, I don’t think we can’t measure grief in comparisons about breakups and other situations. Most people would have returned to work after just weeks or a month if they suffered a child loss in a more "conventional" job too.

can’t blame someone for going back to what they’re used to to try and regain some structure after experiencing a traumatic situation & it probably isn't made easier by the fact that her marriage is highly strained and clearly on the verge of divorce. she probably likes having her mind taken off whats going on.
