I get that and see your point but whether she returns to instagram for work or not, she will constantly be reminded of her loss.
Boy George is the recipient of online comments and messages and he continues to make a living, as does Michael Barrymore on social media. The dust does settle, people move on and new generations come in - my nephew has no idea what B.G did but thought he was funny on im a celebrity so follows him!
I mentioned a few pages back, a family who lost a child to cot death. One was a dentist and the other an office worker - very few colleagues showed them respect and empathy when they returned to work. He just 9 weeks later because they had bills to pay and 2 other children to support. They had a rough few years for sure.
I do believe that if Emilie is authentic and genuine, makes donations where appropriate and raises awareness, she could come back quite strong in time. This tragedy has gone global and many will feel for her and be respectful. A lot won't but in time they will move on, especially i think because she has taken accountability. What can people say 'you didnt put a pool guard in and now your sons passed away'. Shes said yes that's correct. What can they then say? Yes but hes dead. She will say 'correct. Please make sure you have a pool guard and learn from my mistake and tragedy'. I do not extend this to her husband, he knew the net wasnt on the pool and should not have let the child go outside alone whilst he watched tv, he was the responsible adult at that time. We can only assume this hadn't happened previously because she ensured the net was on or Trigg was being watched when outside. This is an assumption based on the obvious and her being out for the first time since having the second when this happened.
Ive rambled a bit sorry im very tired - soft play with the School mums wasnt wise!
But how can you compare this to any other job? She is even alluding to it herself in this statement; people were ringing her doorbell, sending her tit, recording tiktoks with fake info about Trigg’s death, talking about it on Tattle and Reddit etc.
Every time she opens her social media accounts she will see CONSTANT comments about her dead son. If I would return to work after my child’s death, my colleagues would be respectful. That’s not the case for Emilie, she will be reminded of this forever and it will never leave her alone. Unless she disables her comments forever
