The one thing I am grateful for for Emilie and her family was that they got to have his funeral in complete silence and no media climbing in to spot a horrific moment.

I dont know why people were saying "sHe'S nEvEr cOmInG BaCk!!" to social media when people all over the world go back to work after suffering child loss/traumatic events. It isn't always just about money either. It's a sense of routine and purpose after a loss.
She also isn't at the level of wealth where she could effectively retire forever from her work, even if she is wealthy.

Yeah I agree, not quite sure what her content will look like going forward but to say she shouldn’t come back is a bit strange considering this is her job.
Going to work in an office or a shop is quite different to inviting the world online to watch you vlogging your life. I wouldn't be surprised if she stopped posting, or much more infrequently, and loved a more private life.

I guess she wants to go back to some semblance of normality, and that for Emilie is blogging. By the sounds of it, she won’t be including baby T much in the videos which can only be a good thing.
Her job involved exploiting the very thing she lost. Sorry to say, but that’s how it was. Her content revolved around motherhood, family and day to day life etc. Hence why people questioned if she would actually come back to social media
Being a content creator/influencer is a “real” career. It’s 2025, it’s another form of marketing. It’s been this way for years. You sitting Tattle saying it’s not a real job doesn’t change the facts. Not everyone makes millions either some people do UGC or are micro influencers making an extra £5k a year lol
You can dislike it, but it’s now something people make money from and an industry worth 30 billion - that also keeps thousands of people employed in agencies and in various related industries (paid my bills for years) and not everyone wants to be behind a camera but there is a lot of money to be made working behind the scenes in this industry, I have friends who manage influencers for brands and they’re on decent salaries and they wouldn’t have jobs if it wasn’t for the industry. Not everyone wants to be on camera and ultimately it keeps people paid and working.
Just my two cents as someone who’s been in the behind the scenes and has friends who still do the job.

I don't like how certain influencers merch their kids and their kids lifestyles. There's a family that my grandkids follow on Youtube and every part of their lives are "sold" - their bedrooms, bathrooms, clothing, days out. Every single family moment is filmed.. to be sold. They have little privacy. Yes they may have sponsorship and wealth - but I wonder how many family occasions happen that aren't filmed.

Its not a traditional job for better or for worse though is it. Someone who makes money by sharing their life online with strangers is going to have a very different experience going back to work after something horrific like this than someone who is going back to an office job. This makes no sense to me, yes she’ll get comments or messages but who says she even reads or looks at them? She could go back to an office job and have people in the office constantly gossiping about it right infront of her face. She has a rEaL job.
Im not sure why you're getting so defensive over other people's opinions, if you cant note the difference between someone returning to work following a catastrophic life event who has built a career on sharing their life with strangers and someone whose job is nothing to do with sharing their private life then that's up to you. Its not a judgement to recognise there is a difference. Personally I hope she does what is right for her and her family and doesn't feel pressured to 'quit' if she doesnt want to, or feel pressured to carry on due to finances etc if she doesnt want to.

She was a mommy vlogger! She showed herself being the perfect mom in the perfect house with the perfect husband and children and now it turns out her and her hubby were basically neglecting their kid(s), leading to one of them actually DYING. Her whole brand was showing her kids on screen; what they ate, when they were breastfed, what they wore, how often they woke up at night, what they watched on tv, etc.
OF COURSE we’re gonna question whether she is ever going to come back to making videos like that! Duh!
