Anyone else think that what might have been redacted is that Trigg was maybe calling for his dad to help him?
Yes, I thought that too. Trigg must have been trying to get his dad's attention while he tried to swim, presumably fully clothed. So, so heartbreaking.

They say drowning is silent so I think that is unlikely but maybe, who knows.
He struggled and tried to save himself for two mins so it could be possible. Maybe Brady had the tv too loud to hear him. We’ll never know I guess but when circumstances are redacted, people will fill in their own blanks.

I imagine the description of him falling in then struggling for 2 minutes all alone is horrific enough but to think of him screaming or calling for his dad is gut wrenching. That poor little boy.

When I read that part, my jaw DROPPED.

Like how did they sleep at night? Trigg could have got out and gone in the pool, you never know.

I have an autistic 7 yo with zero danger awareness so I felt my take on it would be skewed because our house has to be like Fort Knox (3 locks on front door, back door locked at all times and we keep the key for it locked away too!).
From what I've gathered from this Tattle thread, it seems like they thought Trigg would be safe because they had given him basic swimming lessons. The fact accidents happen and a toddler would have minimum physical stamina seems to have been not realised?

I cannot comprehend their thinking.

There is absolutely no way I could stay with my husband after something like this.

Poor Emilie, it does seem to be about keeping up appearances in a way though and protecting their brand.
Goodness me. I think if they want any kind of normal life or chance of recovery they need to go and live normal lives out of the spotlight. This is always going to come up. It’s never going to go away.

Yes, I can imagine if she does start posting again that every single post she makes will get comments about Trigg, even if they are nice comments its still going to get too much.

She mentions her "enduring right to privacy" but nothing about Trigg's right to privacy when he was alive.

As well as wishing this had never happened at all, I selfishly wish I hadn’t heard about it either. Reading the report had me messed up. I completely understand all the anger towards BK and I’m not going to say anything because I cannot imagine anything worse than losing my child, even worse to know it was your own fault. Truly I do not know how that man is living. I feel so sorry for Trigg. I would also hate though to wake up and hear that B had taken his own life or something like that. I do really wonder how they’re coping.

Glad to see she is taking accountability. Sounds like she'll be back when she's ready.

My heart aches for her reading that, but she made some of the choices that lead to the death of her son. They were both neglectful and have paid the ultimate price. A mother who prioritized safety over aesthetics would mean her son would still be alive. A father who could watch his kids instead of the TV would mean he was here today.

I also get the feeling from that statement that she's going to try to resurrect her "career" after this. And that leaves a nasty taste in honesty.
