I’d say this group is totally about Ellie being a compulsive liar and zero to do with vaccine covid or “awakeness” it’s about seeing someone manipulate, lie constantly, con and basically use others for their own delusions of grandeur and ego oh and donations .. If that irritates you then yeah this is thread .. peoples stance on vaccines is irrelevant on here there are enough forums and groups out there to debate that!

I asked about this because I see a lot of the comments here are about ‘debunking’ vaccine injury in general etc, which regardless of Ellie & her misinformation, I believe in. Also the same with Covid related policies, people here seem to really agree with them & call Ellie out on her BELIEFS, rather than say- a fact she spouts that is wrong.

Trust me, I’m all for calling Ellie out about things she gets wrong- she recently claimed Thimerosal is in the MMR vaccine and I saw someone commented telling her it hasn’t been used in vaccines in the U.K. in many years (which is correct!), and she just said they were wrong and refused to provide any proof when they asked. I’ve messaged her about things like this before & attempted to educate her. So I’m all for calling her out on this- but I’m also not one to sit there and say the vaccine has completely innocent ingredients and never harms anyone, either. This is what annoys me about her, nothing is ever 100% factual. I mean the ingredients of the MMR are readily available for you to view on the SmPC online, I don’t know how she can get it so wrong

All she cares about is her ego and following. She doesn't care about being correct or factual. She just wants to stir up fear and admiration.

How can anyone actually argue that sun beds are safe? There's so much information to show they are not. You don't have to be a scientist to know the truth on that one.

Just like the child did not have iv vitamin c and def had antibiotics. She wouldn't have had a say because its life saving treatment. She also changed the gestation it was born from 28 weeks to 26 weeks. Because 28 weeks isn't dramatic enough for her.

She is a pathological liar.

Let's not forget the fact she took donations for a GLO that never happened and doesn't even mention it now. Wheres the money gone?

She also doesn't have a degree in anything let alone law or biomedical sciences.

I absolutely dislike her, but I might have to play devil’s advocate on this one......
Neonates is my area of specialist practice (22 years so far). It is entirely possible for an ex-preterm baby to breastfeed. I haven’t seen what she’s posted about her NICU experience, so I don’t know (her version of) the details. There will be nuance, of course.

Babies born between 26/28 weeks don’t feed immediately. She (Delilah) will have had a central line & parenteral nutrition to begin with & breastmilk introduced gradually (via the naso-gastric route). We generally allow babies to go the breast/offer oral feeds once they are weaned off most respiratory support & are well enough. This usually takes a few weeks & by then, the baby is usually mature enough to wake for some feeds. It rarely happens before 34 weeks corrected gestational age & they’re still too little even then to complete all their feeds this way. It usually takes until they’re nearly term. It can take babies born at the more extreme end of prematurity a lot longer to reach this stage and many require SALT input.
Lots of preemie Mums express all the way through their baby’s NICU journey & take them home breastfeeding. It takes real commitment to keep their milk supply going for many weeks via a breast pump alone. Many give up & some are simply unable to keep it going until their baby is well enough to feed that way. But it is possible.

I can confirm that Delilah won’t have had IV vitamin C. We don’t do that! I’m not even aware of that treatment being absolve for adults. She will have had IV antibiotics though. I’d say with some confidence that a baby born at that gestation is highly unlikely to survive NICU & invasive monitoring/IV lines without at least one course of antibiotics.

She’s made her feelings clear about vitamin K (I have read that post & it’s many inaccuracies) & she will absolutely have been advised to let the team give it. She may well have refused. It is one of the few things parents can refuse, if they tell us ante- natally, but the risks of not having it will have been explained. More fool her. If her baby had had an intra ventricular haemorrhage- her vitamin K refusal will have been documented.

Well, that was all very serious. I’d just like to call her a bleep if I may. For balance.

My mum and dad were offered a vaccine for me for mumps, they declined because they weighed up the risks based on the likely side effects. I got mumps and now am dead in one ear. I’m not pro or anti vax. I’m just telling this story as it’s more complex. If some people don’t have vaccinations they might die too. There are two sides to everything. I think what frustrates about the people on social media is they don’t listen to two sides and only listen to one side. Which is dangerous for those who don’t have the ability to critically think. It’s taking advantage of these vulnerable people which gets people’s backs up in my opinion.

Thats very interesting, one of Biba's infamous interviews was about vaccine injury, and she claimed that the counter-argument (people who have been damaged by the diseases that vaccines prevent) didn't exist as no one had ever regretted not being vaccinated.
