I understand, plus they literally have nothing better to do, no kids or jobs so it would make sense to just build it themselves
Exactly, but it’s there money to waste I guess! 😂

Also interesting how she did all these ‘speed clean’ vids yet she’s hiring cleaners to do it for her really. Just another thing for content I guess 🤭
Probably and trying to be relatable when they couldn’t be less relatable...😂

How do we know she’s getting a cleaner? Sorry I know they have a dog but there’s 2 adults there, who are home all day, no kids, no other job/responsibilities.. why can’t they just pick up after themselves? If you work or have kids I completely get it, you spend your life picking up after everyone else but if it’s just 2 adults in a home you literally just tidy up behind yourself and that alone keeps on top of things! Baffling! As for the influencer bubble bursting, I think they slowly evolve on to other things to keep their channel relevant. Now fitness isn’t a massive hype Elle has stopped going on about it as much, moved on to hauls etc, now is diving in to clothes a lot more.. I wonder what her ‘passion’ will be next once she feels she’s churned every video out possible about this one.. probably have a baby and move on to ‘mum videos’ at that point. Look at Mrs meldrum, the bubble does pop. At least Lee could go back to work off shore, what can Elle and Connor do? Not much!

I’m glad she seems happy though, for all she has I’m sure she’d swap everything in a second for her mum to be well. Also her mum is very comfortable money wise, maybe she has helped although I do believe what these Influencers get paid gifted is obscene and probably enough to give her a good deposit. I personally wouldn’t choose the estate she’s living on or the town, nothing there and a lot of new social housing very near her house being built ( like five doors away. I’m not being a snob here, but if I was buying a £450k house I wouldn’t choose it to be next door to SH, my friend had a new build in the same situation, let’s just say a couple of families were horrendous).
Most new build developments have a social housing section though, I live in a new build which is rented through social housing and I’m just like everyone else, my rent isn’t cheap either but maybe that’s because I live in a nice area. People just assume SH is for rum and cheap and it really isn’t

She said in the last video that there are cleaners in their old house cleaning making it ready to give back to the owner. I’d imagine they’d use them for their new house too!

.
That would just be an end of tenancy clean I’m pretty sure she would admit herself but she doesn’t need a cleaner

Well she says “we also have OUR cleaner going round today”, I don’t feel like you’d say “our” if you didn’t use them regularly? You would just say “a cleaner”? But who knows...

I agree, she definitely said “our cleaner”. You surely wouldn’t say that unless it was someone you used regular.

No I don’t assume SH is rum, however if I was paying the amount she i personally would not choose it to be near quite a lot of social housing. I’ve lived in council owned property growing up, not ashamed at all, however I also have personal experience of the nightmare that came from two families who lived on a new housing developmen. My friends life ( and her neighbours) were hell. The families were moved out eventually but it’s just something I wouldn’t choose if I had the choice. No offence meant to anybody. X

I grew up in a council house on a council estate and I’m not offended by what you have said, it makes perfect sense. A large percent of my family have lived and still do live in social housing and they are perfectly respectable, but you will usually get some undesirable people living there too, it’s just the way It is. :)

You get some absolute cranks who live on new build estates and own their house too. 😂

I'm inclined to agree, I live in the welsh valleys so as you can believe it has its rough places. I grew up in a council house on a council estate and some of the people there really did give people in social housing a bad name.
I moved away to a similar area which thankfully has nicer people. I now live in a mortgaged house but as I live here it's cheap and a hell of a lot cheaper than renting. I got lucky to get the house I got in the area I'm in. There's no way I'd live back home with the way they are there. I'm not stuck up at all, but I have to agree, some SH are a nightmare to live by.

Oh I’m not offended but again maybe it just the area I live in but we don’t have social housing all built together, they just rent out a section of a new build so to me wherever you buy a new build you are going to be amongst social housing people.
I think what does annoy me (not anyone here just in general) is lots of people think all social housing is cheap which isn’t, I probably pay more rent in social housing than people do on their mortgages. Maybe I should move out of one of London’s nicest boroughs 😂

I used to absolutely love Elle but lately, I think she's completely changed.
I bought a top from her angelle collection, there was an issue with my order, I emailed - and was ignored. They were busy, I got over it.
They then go on an extravagant last-minute holiday with all the order money - soooo relatable.
And now the new house that most of her followers could never even dream of, which she's filling with all new luxury gifted items... I mean getting rid of that brand new sofa?! Connor needs a real job ASAP, I hate him being in every video and I hate the way he talks to Elle. I miss the old Elle that actually cared about her viewers.

I completely agree. I can't even be bothered to watch her videos anymore and at one point, she was the only one I would watch. Of course her house is beautiful but my partner and I (who are the same ages as Elle & Conor) worked so hard to purchase our first house which is just a little 2 bed. I can't bring myself to watch her videos since her new house move. Just not relatable anymore. When she was in her old house, I felt like we were at the same stages of our lives but then BOOM a massive unrealistic house is purchased.

Connor is really grating on me, the way he behaves and the stupid voice he puts on with all this Angelle tit, he needs to focus on the things he likes doing and stop getting involved with all the “hiiiiiiii angelles” “ you do you boo” leave that for elle. he’s such a little boy

Totally agree, she just seems like a sponger constant swipe ups and gifted items! Is a house this big at this age really nessacary !
there is no way she and Connor did this on their own mortgage lenders would see them very very risky to lend this much money too!!! So I’m guessing elles parents have helped considerably with the deposit and are probably guarantors on the mortgage.
I hope this influencer train soon comes to an end because when it does what will all these couples like Elle and Connor do for an honest days work !!
