The toxic part of the relationship is more likely to be on her than him I think. It’s never just one person of course but you can tell she’s more of the problem maker than he is.
Taking the kids away to distract from moving is a £7k mistake. If anything it’ll ruin their memory of the holiday “remember that time mum took us away to pretend things were ok about us losing our home”.

and yes, her “work”is just under exposed nonsense.

Still find it hard to believe she would pay £7k to take her kids out of school for what looks like 2 weeks. Must be sponsored in some way

Lads, don't ask me why, but I took one for the team and listened to that Parental podcast she was on recently. Sweet suffering jesus. It was sixteen hours of my life I will never get back. (Disclaimer, actual length 2 hours, but felt excruciatingly longer).
She is absolutely chaotic, lost, depressed, and quite possibly in the middle of a mental breakdown. The host kept steering her back to the question after she went off on a long winded tangent about absolutely nothing every time he asked her a question.
She was sobbing about how she wished she has just bought a parenting book and read it with Daniel like he wanted to 10 years ago when she was pregnant with Saoirse.
I knew her years ago as a teenager/early 20s, and she is 100% driven by appearances and material things, wanting others to be jealous of her facade. Now that it's all come crashing down I actually feel incredibly sorry for her. What a shallow existence she leads.

Did she say what difference it would have made if she had read a parenting book ?

She didn't, but I feel like she was suggesting that it might have made a difference to their relationship if she did buy the book? She talked about shutting people out and refusing to prepare for the birth, so I think she feels like if she hadn't been so closed off with Daniel back then maybe they would still be together? I dunno, it was very disjointed and uncomfortable to listen to. I felt like I was eavesdropping on someone's private therapy session in some parts.

That podcast is bizarre. Her language ...

Christ she kept detailing it the whole way through didn't listen to any question he asked.

Not a true representation of motherhood.

Holy mother of God. I listened to a bit of it … but I literally can’t. She’s just so chaotic. Out of control.

The part of the podcast when she started talking about how just after she had her eldest she changed forever. She put on a weird fake voice and talked a load of bollix. I just find her so fake. Like she's acting.
