opening Presents with the kiddies is amazing and special but it’s not essential. Staying out in your place of work which is also a tier 4 region is essential. It was illegal in Uk law to abandon a tier 4 area like she did. She is not employed in Ireland- not one little bit. She rents a place in the UK and works full time in the UK. End of story.Because they capped flights into Ireland? I’m not trying to start a fight with you- I swear. Flight were capped, so lots of people took another option. It’s not right (in my mind- and clearly yours) but it is a back door that exists. It’s only been today that the two cmo’s of the north and south have issued a joint statement asking people not to travel cross border. But it’s still not illegal if you’re deemed essential
her husband is carrying the childminding torch during this point in her career. Lots of people are hugely affected by this pandemic, and sadly too many have died. Lisa doesn’t get to be above it all and do what ever she likes while she (and clearly you) scrape the barrel for reasons and to why it was no big deal. The worst part is she’s still preaching to the masses like she gives a shit. It’s so hypocritical and patronising! My friend just lost their dad to covid today. I’m not able for this blind trust that Lisa was in the right. She literally sneaked in the back door and went into an Irish household and mixed with them while they continued to mix with the community. Pretty sure she wasn’t in a Hazmat suit on the plane to Belfast. She’s tested regularly because she’s super high risk for carrying the virus/ not so that she can flout the regulations.Definitely not honest. Perhaps not ethical. But not illegal. There’s a huge difference here
And actually as far as I know (in terms of what we as airlines check) you just have to be essential in one of the countries you’re flying from/to. She’s also caring for children so definitely coveted.
In fact, if she had flown into Irish airport, visa control there would’ve likely not even made her full out a form indicating where she was isolating. Crappy I know but true
Did he reply? She is some piece of workI’m going to message Dr Alex George right now. This is just ridiculous
It’s really concerning to read there are nurses working in London, where the rates of infection are sky high, travelling back and forth to Ireland every week to family. I’ve a friend here that has rented an air B and B whole apartment for the last 9 months so that she is not bringing anything home from her work in healthcare to her family. She’s been doing socially distanced visits in the height of things. Bet she’d be sickened to hear of those nurses travelling cross countries.I am so confused by all this. I thought since she is an emergency worker she’s allowed to come home? There’s bucketloads of people doing the same- legally. Is there some reason why she’s not?
My BIL is a detective but he’s alllowed travel home. His daughter is a nurse in London, she’s allowed travel. I’m confused why isn’t Lisa?
Well I know of several nurses and my brother in law, who is a doctor and they are incredibly worried and concerned about the new UK variant strain being spread around our countryShe’s a specialist nurse and was actually asked by the HSE to return and do 2x week training people in hospital here in Ireland. I’m not sure I agree with it either, but to be fair the infection rates in the Irish hospital she works in are worse, so I’d say more likely London is concerned??
I guess with the state of our health system it must be something we need? Apparently there’s at least5 others she knows of doing something similar.
Couldn’t agree more with everything you just said!I see she's on again claiming she's allowed to travel. She's taking her followers for fools again. I doubt she volunteers in Ireland, that's most likely a lie. And just because she is registered in Ireland as a doctor doesn't mean she works here...
Last year at the beginning of the pandemic she just said she was going to keep travelling over and back because it was essential for her family. She is changing her tune now. See basically admited herself she was choosing to travel for her own personal reasons.
On top of it what she posted only applies to flying into England, no mention of the rules when she flies into Ireland..
Also all travel corridors with the UK have been suspended according to that website she posted herself. So why is she posting information about travel corridors? They were suspended in January according to that website.
She is selectively posting information to suit her.
Also her travel to Ireland has no "essential function or need", quoted from the European Commission, as she doesn't fucking work here. The European Commission are not saying doctors can fly around and go on holidays ignoring the rules purely because they are doctors.
Is she actually lacking in brains or just that self absorbed and selfish?
There's more holes in this one's story. It's embarrassing that she thinks her followers are all not as smart as her and only she can understand the guidelines... uhm ok hun...
Seems to think because she "save lives for a living " she doesn't need to save lives by staying home to prevent the spread of a deadly infectious disease. cool.
She has, and it's only really started since she joined that agency. I found her very down to earth and "normal" before. Not preachy at all, unlike now.The problem with her and why I unfollowed very quickly I may add, she has an air of superiority the way she addresses her followers.
I thought it was just me who didn't like her Irish, but could never figure out why. I'm also from Munster! I think it's great she makes an effort to speak it with her kids but it always sounds very rough or something to me. And I'm not an Irish snob at all, is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste after allI know its cos i'm from munster and used to 'munster irish' but i cant stand her irish - i know gaeilgeoirs who have lovely irish and shes not one.
Very unprofessional to be instagramming on the job but i have to admit that Joe was a bit of a ride!
