I’ve glad I’ve come across this thread as I’ve been watching this all unfold on Twitter for months and been horrified at it all.
I know psychology isn’t the same as nursing but if you make a complaint about a health trust or a hospital, if you aren’t satisfied with the response to the complaint you can escalate it higher and it will be considered by a different body. Is there anything like this when you’re making a complaint about a ‘psychologist’? (Using that term very loosely)
The response reads in a very unprofessional way to me - I’ve made a complaint about a healthcare service before and the complaint response was three pages long and addressed every single point I made, quoting me and responding to almost every sentence, and providing facts and evidence. That email SA received seems very half-hearted and brief and I felt frustrated reading it and it wasn’t even addressed to me, so I can’t imagine how she must have felt. I hope she manages to get some free legal representation.
