Can anyone here tell me if I’m overreacting?

I’ve just purchased the YSL medium Kate bag in flannels thinking I got a bargain £300 off. Came home to find it didn’t come in the usual Saint Laurent box. I’m absolutely devastated and feel like it’s taken the shine off my new treat. Is this normal?

Totally 100% get it. I like getting my designer stuff in a box. But I think YSL is one of the ones that has been phasing them out. When I got my Loulou in 2019 he told me that they don’t have many bags anymore and only give them out when requested.

With flannels you’re lucky to even get a branded dustbag unfortunately. I don’t think they give boxes with any brands.

I’ve never had a box with a Saint Laurent bag only ever a dustbag and I think that’s the norm unless you get it direct from boutique. I think the only bags I’ve ever had in boxes are Chanel, Dior and LV.

But yeh stuff being missing from Flannels especially if it’s at a reduced price is the norm because as we’ve discussed before most of their stuff is ‘seconds’ that’s why it’s cheap.

Hi all, looking to upgrade my watch. I’ve been wearing a rose gold Marc Jacobs watch for the last 10+ years. I got it from a parent and just haven’t taken it off. I’m not really sure what’s a good choice or trendy. I don’t mind splashing out a few more 000s for something that’s an investment piece and I could sell if I needed money etc.

Get a cartier or rolex. Most of them don't really devalue.

I am so so happy to have found this thread! Can’t wait to read through all of your posts.

I am in my 20s and almost everyone I know is just buying things on DH Gate and fakes off instagram, I hate it. I love learning about the history of fashion houses and finding vintage items as well as new season. My 2022 obsessions were Stella McCartney, Brunello Cuccinelli and Ralph Lauren. Can’t wait to learn more this year and have a few things on my wish list that I’m working towards ☺

Hey Y'all, been a tattle member for ages but just found this thread, which I'm delighted about. My friends\family are boring and have no interest in fashion beyond Primark and Shein, and I feel bad discussing how much I pay for stuff so always pretend I got it very cheap in sales (ESPECIALLY to the other half) so hoping I can join in here with you guys. I suspect from the posts I've read so far this thread is gonna be a bad influence! (In the best way lol). I studied textile and fashion design and have a bit of an addiction to bags, especially Chloe and Mulberry, I also have a penchant for Alexander McQueen, All Saints and Dr Martens and I'm on the "Emo" side of the fashion spectrum. So happy to have discovered my kinsfolk here 😀 my most recent purchase was a wee bargain, a black Mulberry east\west Mitzi in immaculate condition for one hundred pounds, and some accessories in the All Saints sale. I need no enabling, I'm more than enabled already 🤣

I've had a few Stella McCartney bags, but I'm going back to ten + years ago, I couldn't believe how much the prices have gone up! They used to be very reasonable, i don't recall paying more than 300\400 pounds for them but now even the small ones are upwards of 600/700.

It's a Mike Ashley store! Another poster on here said some of the stuff is seconds but there can be bargains in the sales.
