I just don't understand this anymore. It's such a contradiction to me that brands like Dior gives influencers all their stuff for free (and it has been A LOT the last few years and increase their prices at the same time. If people are influenced to buy Dior items based on what they saw on socials, but then see the prices increasing and increasing, would anyone still buy a bag that they know is overpriced? Seems like a lose-lose for Dior because they give their stuff away but the return on investment won't be high because the majority of people cannot justify spending so much money on their items? It's not like it would really impact them financially, but still 🤷‍♀️ at some point people reach their max on what they want to spend on certain items right
I honestly can't bring myself to buy anything from Dior for this reason...I've never been a huge fan anyway fortunately but seeing their extravagant gifts to influencers all the time really puts me off, the price increases seem to literally be balancing out gifts to people who can more than afford it

Likes of Jlo etc. I hope they aren't just giving them to instargrammers

I agree with the following. I don’t see the point of buying brands that gives influencers items for free. It’s cheap. I won’t be rushing to buy from dior even though I want to replace my Lady Dior bag I sold for a mini version. I feel it doesn’t justify the prices increase.

When I see influencers with gifted bags from certain brands that have all the same styling it turns me away if I’m being honest. Everything seems so unnatural and fabricated. It’s gets boring the same post one after the other. I like it when people buy the bag because the genuinely love it and they style it in their own unique way. That’s what makes me want to buy the bag.

Have they all been allowed to keep the bags too? I follow someone who was posting with the new Dior bag but a comment she made on her post made it sound like she'd been given the bag for a photo and had to give it back.

Wow. I don’t really follow any of those girls.

I can see the Lady Dior has gone up around 17% depending the size. Book tote the mini ones look like they’ve gone up a little, I think the small and big one are the same but I don’t remember the exact prices from before?

What is going on with all the price increases?🤯 the cost of living is going up with a bang. How on earth do they expect people to keep up? Obviously they have their target audience that will continue to purchase no matter the price increase. I love Dior products I’m a big fan and was going to buy some new sandals next weekend when we go shopping for my birthday but probably won’t now I don’t at all mind spending money on high end products I love them but there’s got to be a point with these price increases where you just Think ‘wtf’🤯.

What influencers have been gifted Dior bags?
There are a lot of Arab influencers (nadabaeshan) who have been gifted the latest Dior bag.
You think if they were into luxury they would purchase a bag or item as they can afford it through their brand deals.

does anybody know what sophia webster shoes quality is like?
They’re good quality! The Evangeline are better quality compared to the Rosalind I think (some of the crystals on my Rosalind heel have fallen out but it’s not noticeable at all).

But can’t fault the Evangeline. I was worried the butterfly wings would ruin but they’re in good shape so far 🤞🏼

Haha that was me!! I am forever impressed with Revolve shipping. I'm STILL waiting on my H&M order that I placed at my local store though (it's been 11 days hahaha). Hope you like your Revolve items!!

Anyone here know Edinburgh and advise on the luxury shopping, was hoping to find Chloe but can't see any mention of it. Thanks.
