Anyone got a YSL medium Lou Lou that can give me a little review? please

I don't own one yet as I was dithering over which size to go for, but a friend has the medium and I've tried both the medium and small. There's loads of YouTube videos comparing the two - I thought this one was really good:


I do like a bigger bag, I always carry around too much stuff that I probably don't need (gotta love anxiety overpreparing you for everything) so I thought the medium would be ideal. In all honesty, I found the medium to be quite heavy and bulky and just a pain in the a to carry. It just didn't fit well on my body no matter how I wore it, and I'm 5'7 so I imagine it would overwhelm you if you were shorter. I know some people like the oversized look but I value comfort more!

You can actually fit quite a lot in the small if you're out and about during the day or for dinner/evening events. No you wouldn't be able to use it for work or uni and fit a laptop/books in there but I wouldn't use this bag for that sort of thing, I'd go for a tote or something roomier. The small looks stunning too and fits so well just under my shoulder. You want your bag to be comfortable and with the medium I just felt like it was swinging around and getting in my way, and that was only after a few minutes so I think carrying it around all day would seriously get on my nerves.

There's not much in way of price between the medium and small and I do feel that the small should be nearer £1.5k but hey. The Loulou is really beautiful though so ultimately it'll come down to your own preference and what you want to use it for and comfort levels when you're carrying it!

Ahh if you find its a bit too small then the medium would definitely be big enough, its pretty roomy. definitely try it on if you can and get a feel for it, I know a few people think it's a bit bulky and doesn't sit as well as the small does but it might work for you!

When I tried the medium in the shop I didn’t like it to carry, even the SA was saying the small is a much better looking bag but no good if you’re looking for something bigger.

Juste un clou.
I’ve had mine for over 6 years and I love it.
The diamonds is absolutely gorgeous I wouldn’t wear that everyday.

On a similar note, been laughing my head off all afternoon at all the watch nerds/bros on Instagram crying because they won’t be able to get one of the limited edition Tiffany/PP cobranded Nautilus watches that have just been announced. I do feel sorry for my SA who said he’s been inundated with enquiries already though!

I really don’t like the PP and Tiffany limited edition!
But have you seen the new limited edition Cartier Panthère watches? There is one for UAEs National ray and Qatar’s national day…I think they are so gorgeous

Haha me either me and my husband are going shopping on the 23rd I’m so nervous they will have nothing left. Unfortunately that is the only date we can do with work and things already booked in for the children. I have just about everything for everyone else .

Anyone else sick of brands copying designer brands like VCA and making fake look-alikes? I keep seeing people wearing fake VCA Vintage Alhambra’s, coupled with people like Molly-Mae making everything look cheap and it just takes away from how special they are. Does that make sense?

Perfect sense, I do still love VCA but it’s become so common and dare I say a bit chavvy…a bit like Tiffany 20 years ago.
