Since he's asking and reading these threads, here's some answers to Jimmy's existential questions.

1. Are we needed ?? Or are we not needed ??

There's plenty of established evidence of increasing rates of poverty across the country. A related problem is the poor state of much of the country's housing stock which is not fit for purpose and will increasingly not meet the needs of a warming climate. There is a need to address structural and systemic poverty AND to find ways to both address the high costs of home energy use and ensure that Britain's homes are better insulated and energy efficient. We know all this.

There are some measures already in place to help people on low incomes access new boilers through government grants. DEPHER could be helping local people access these grants if it developed the right expertise to do so.

Additionally, there probably IS a need for low-cost heating engineers who can go into homes and conduct repairs and install new appliances.

DEPHER could establish a partnership with the local council or any number of existing charities to put such a programme in place. The energy companies all have corporate social responsibility programmes that could be worked with. Burnley could become a pilot programme to test efficacy and then it could be rolled out further. You would start small and actively track needs and impact over a period of time with rigorous reporting and evidence.

However, this would need skilled management, financial transparency and an ability to negotiate partnerships with the public sector, and the corporate and non-governmental sectors. The DEPHER CIC business model is not ever going to be able to address all these deep-rooted issues and no amount of relaunching and GoFundMe efforts will do it.

So, here's a question back at you, James: does DEPHER actually have any of these skills or abilities and do you have any clear-sighted plans to work with the sorts of experts who could help develop such important work?

2. Shall we continue or shall we just say goodbye and ignore the true suffering and poverty in your community

This is an overly emotional and manipulative question which is designed to make us think that DEPHER is the only solution to a widespread, systemic set of societal and economic problems.

No, you should not continue. You are not qualified to run a complex operation that addressing this need requires. You have repeatedly demonstrated a cavalier disregard for the privacy of your clients and you have lied and blurred the truth about both the work you do and the fundraising you undertake to do it.

You were able to exploit the goodwill of the public who agree that there are huge problems relating to poverty and who fervently hope somebody will do something about it. Unfortunately, this very challenging reality cannot be improved by individuals contributing small amounts of money to online fundraisers. You have shown us time and again that you cannot be trusted to be a good and proper steward of other people's money.

"Saying goodbye" does not mean ignoring poverty. It means taking a dishonest and manipulative person like yourself out of the picture before you do any more harm.

Here's another question for you: have you ever considered that you might be doing more harm than good?

3. Does it come to that point of saying " enough " when the truth is suppressed by the lies of ignorance and jealousy, sparked by the motive of personal grudges and manipulation of what is real. When others attack the good, but also the recipients of that good, to cause damage and hurt to those they do not yet know or never will. How do we deal with what society now calls the normal, but it is the cause of so much hatred, do we ignore and accept, do we lie down and allow the truth to be hidden and the kindness to be destroyed, or do we fight for the rights of each other. When humanity loses its humanity, we know we are lost forever, and it is only a matter of time until we know it will reach us all, regardless of the king or president, we are all human, we have the same genetic makeup as each other. We feel the same pain. We see the same pain We speak the same pain We ignore the same pain While others die from the pain we created, and we ignore it, the pain because at this moment in time, it doesn't affect us.

This isn't a question but it's more of the same manipulative bullshit that you peddle as your modus operandi James.

If you really believe criticisms of DEPHER are due to jealousy and a willful intent to destroy someone's good work, you are showing us that you do not possess the emotional intelligence to lead an organisation working with large amounts of money and with vulnerable people.

There is absolutely no evidence that any of the critics are competitors who are trying to steal DEPHER's work from under you.

Nobody is undermining the values of kindness or seeking to destroy anybody's rights.

Instead, there is a consistent examination of the ways in which DEPHER breaks all codes of professional conduct, exploits the genuine suffering of vulnerable people to extort money from empathetic members of the public, and does not even manage to fulfill its basic mandate to offer competent heating and plumbing works.

Instead of losing our humanity, your critics are displaying humanity by keeping a watchful eye on your shoddy workmanship, your disregard for the law, your constant, patronising breaches of people's privacy and your bleeping dodgy financial management. We are concerned that DEPHER is harming people who are already vulnerable to predators and the effects of poverty, ill health and old age -- by giving our time voluntarily to hold you to account, without any benefit to ourselves, we hope to put a halt to your crimes.

Here's a last question for you, James: If you spent some time considering your motives, would you honestly be able to say that you are driven by a concern for humanity or are you using the cloak of benevolence to create wealth for yourself and your extended family, while also getting a big ego boost from being a well-known man who dispenses philanthropy to the poor and needy?

Over to you, James. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. All indications are that you've screwed up your social media platforms by repeatedly closing and re-opening your social media accounts -- a very stupid move, especially as more people are awakened to the proliferation of online grifting. You won't be able to raise huge amounts of cash without any accountability again.

The first sentence of his reminded me of one of those spammy "This puppy is sad because nobody wish him a happy birthday 😢" posts you get on Facebook that all the dafties reply to. He needs to get a grip and stop being manipulative.

Would love to know the AI prompt that created that.

Something along the lines of 'What would a cult leader under investigation by the authorities say?'
I asked ChatGPT's "Write For Me" exactly this and it answered...

Creating a fictional scenario involving a cult leader under investigation can be quite intriguing. Let's design a character and a context for this scenario. The character, let's name them Alex Mercer, is the charismatic leader of a secretive group known as "The Path of the Eternal Light". The group has been under scrutiny due to allegations of illegal activities and manipulation. With the authorities closing in, Alex decides to address their followers to maintain their loyalty and control. Here's how Alex might frame their message, using a mixture of deflection, victimization, and appeal to their followers' beliefs:

Address to the Faithful of The Path of the Eternal Light
My beloved family,

In these trying times, our faith and unity are tested like never before. It has come to my attention, through the whisperings of the wind and the uneasy silence of the night, that forces beyond our sacred circle seek to sow discord among us. They label us as outcasts, as practitioners of the forbidden, as a "cult" under the scrutinizing gaze of the law.

I stand before you today, not as a leader, but as a fellow seeker of the Eternal Light, to share the truth amidst the shadows of deceit. It is with a heavy heart that I acknowledge our peaceful congregation is under investigation by authorities who do not understand our ways, who fear the depth of our connection, and who envy the purity of our commitment to the path we walk together.

They accuse us of wrongdoing, of acts we have not committed, and of intentions we do not harbor. In their blindness, they fail to see the beauty of our communion, the strength of our bond, and the light of our truth. They seek to dismantle what we have built, not with stones and mortar, but with love, understanding, and the relentless pursuit of enlightenment.

To you, my brothers and sisters, I say this: Do not waver, do not fear, and do not succumb to the doubts they aim to plant in our garden of unity. We have walked through the darkest valleys and have emerged stronger, enlightened, and more committed to our cause. This investigation, this persecution, is but another trial on our path, a test of our resolve, and a challenge to our faith.

Let us stand together, as one, in the face of adversity. Let us hold fast to our beliefs, our rituals, and our shared vision for a world enlightened by the Eternal Light. They may investigate, they may question, and they may doubt, but they cannot break the spirit that binds us.

In the days to come, let us continue our practices with even greater fervor, let us support each other with unwavering love, and let us prove to the world that our path is one of peace, enlightenment, and eternal unity. Remember, it is not the darkness that defines us, but the light that we bring into the world.

Stay strong, stay united, and stay committed to the Path of the Eternal Light.

With eternal love and light,

Alex Mercer

This speech uses several tactics typical of individuals in such positions when under scrutiny: portraying the group as misunderstood and persecuted, reinforcing the us-vs-them mentality, and calling for unity and continued faith in the face of external pressures.

The clue was “A place in the sun” which you thought might be the holiday. Well the sun is hot, another thing that’s hot might be a gas boiler, a place might be a house or even a shop, yes you’ve won a conbola ticket for a load of knackered old boiler parts!
What d’you mean you’d rather have the bin?

Jimmy's problem (one of many) is that he is obviously deeply thick. And when he tries to sound profound and intelligent it just emphasises the thickness.
Same also applies to his being 'caring'. I genuinely don't think he is at all. So it always comes across as insincere and disingenuous.
Apart from that carry on Jim (y)

Ah that's kind. Jimmy training one of life's unfortunates.
Must be a complete and utter coincidence that this person is his brother in law and also tenant of the 'investment' house.
Funny he doesn't mention it though
(And why when I read what he writes it is always in Jim Bowen's Bullseye voice).
