Ella, darling, we all know you read this thread, despite how amazing, successful, loaded, busy and fulfilled your life is.

For the love of everything that is holy. If you want a maximalist, more is more house, EMPLOY AND INTERIOR DESIGNER that specialises in this. You and CEO Matthew don’t know it all, don’t always know better, you are not experts in everything.

Take a page out of Richard Branson’s book. He had ideas and he knew he is not an expert in the field. He hired experts and worked with people who knew what they were doing. And despite this everyone associates the Virgin Group with him.
Hahha so true
Believe it or not , the house decor is full of trendy designers items ( lampshades, wallpapers ,headboard..etc) ...just not the right choices...

If they are rebranding and streamlining the headcount, might be gearing up for a sale or partial sale - eg spinning off the food products under a different name so they can keep the ‘deliciously Ella’ brand 🤨

Everything PLANTS on the waitrose website has poor reviews or no reviews available 🤔
Both their burgers say on the search results page “no reviews yet”. But once you click into the actual products you see they actually do have reviews… just a lot of very bad ones I presume are being tactfully held back a little?! 😅 I’ve updated on these before but omg guys I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grocery item flop as much as these two… the negative reviews just keep rolling in! One review of the burgers was even titled “Disgustingly Ella” 🤣
Also, do we reckon the random one-off 5 star rating on each one is from one of their team members?!

She is such a basic St Andrews girl. I think originally she just wanted to make her modelling career happen and have some decent pocket money coming in by doing trendy North London supper clubs, having a tote bag line for the wellness girlies, the odd cookbook and maybe some yoga classes on the side. Enter CEO Matthew and it's suddenly an all-consuming family business where she's constantly out of her depth, very insecure about her abilities and trying to hide her stress with affirmations.
Highly likely she never wanted any of this… she does not and sound truly happy AT ALL. Also I’m fairly certain she would much prefer to live the IT girl life, which she very much is not living.

But her modelling and IT girl life was also shattered by her dad’s divorce. If she actually became famous famous she would have never been able to put her dad’s coming out behind her. It would still be a topic today…

Others on here have mentioned this before but I think her diet and lifestyle hasn’t “cured” her illness in the way she’d like us to believe. And that’s why she spends a lot of time in bed and getting Uber rides to work etc - she’s struggling to manage the POTS symptoms (and possibly mental health toojudging by some of her posts) but has to put up this facade for the sake of DE that she’s happy and thriving with all the “wellness” she preaches
She did let it slip several times she was on a bunch of medication etc. but it is very very possible that she is feeling great and she isn’t getting checked out properly and is trying to manage symptoms with her voodoo bs. She will turn into Gwyneth Palthrow soon

Ella loves everything she/they make. What neither her or CEO Matthew realise that by her own admission she used to have a horrible diet. And she has been plant based for so long… please explain to me how she would know what proper plant based food compares to non plant based versions? She us trying to convert people to plant based and trying to make plant based transfusions easier etc.
just how?! She can’t compare a lot of foods to the “regular” alternatives

If he brings out coconut water I might die 😂
Wasn’t coconut water the product he was working on before he met Ella? I’d be shocked if he didn’t use this “Plants” opportunity to make his passion project finally come true 😅

If you loom at all the influencers, who try to “influence” full time, being anxious/burning out etc is their desperate attempt at trying to be relatable.

I think they’ll always keep the office in London because it would be difficult to hire elsewhere with the outrageous staff turnover they have. Plus they have the restaurant. I reckon they might do a move to the country then keep the house in London for Matt to live in during the week?
---
Also, how shockingly wasteful is getting rid of the brand new kitchen they had fitted as they only moved into that office in May 2022. So it’s less than a year old before it’s being replaced.
Gosh so wasteful. Thanks for the inside info.
More money than sense as always

There is also the bigger picture of what Ella has, and has always had, access to - for example I doubt Ella has ever had to see an NHS doctor except in emergencies. She will have always had the very best private medical care and the inherited wealth to afford any treatment, therapy from massage to acupuncture, physio, reformer Pilates, nutritionist, checkups for no reason, the best and most extensive blood tests etc under the sun. It is difficult to fathom what a phenomenal difference that makes to a persons life.
But yes let’s make it all about tahini and maple syrup. No one is asking her to apologise for being born into the 0.1% but the way she skates over the enormous wealth divide - while preaching about the virtues of overpriced, tiny plastic packets of nuts - is ludicrous. Ironic when her family could have done so much to improve things but instead used their wealth to dedicate wings of museums to themselves under the guise of philanthropy.
You couldn’t have said better

And the NHS as we all know is a huge postcode lottery so them living in Kensington will mean she has an experience that is wildly different from most people’s.

"trip of a limetime" is so overused by influencers, for most of us a big holiday this would be the case, not when you take 3/4 holidays to exotic places a year!
But for our so not relatable girl next door Ella it is more like 3/4 holidays to exotic places A MONTH 😂🤡😂

Yes I phrased it badly and didn't mean to cause any offence @Meg78

I was defo meaning more along the lines of what @PineappleQueen19 has described really well. The most extreme end of the spectrum is that Belle Gibson woman who faked a flipping brain tumour that she claimed to fix with clean eating. Ella's claim to have fixed her physical issues with clean eating and wellness easily fits into that type of scamming
She let it slip that she was on a bunch of meds a few times. And then she came off them and then managed her symptoms with lifestyle changes.
