Sorry, off topic, just wanted to say what a fannitastic name you haveI think what makes these celebs' egos go through the roof is that they're constantly referred to as 'the talent'.

Is he not using a ghostwriter, i thought this was evident. There's no way people like him are actually writing the books. From the DM ‘The children's author has published more than 40 works’ - his first children’s book was published in 2008. How on earth has he managed to keep up standards and publish 40 in an 18 year period? He must be pumping out 2-3 books a year? Roald Dahl only published around 20 children’s books in about 46 years!
It came out years ago that Mark Owen was a raging womaniser. Think he made a statement admitting to like 8 affairs or something but his wife was sticking by himThe way ITV protect the likes of Walliams and Schofield, they are like the BBC in the 1970s. At least in the 1970s one can understand how victims felt they'd never be believed and the culture was such that certain things were deemed more "acceptable" (not that it made anything that happened right), but it beggars belief that in 2022, predatory behaviour is still covered up.
Make me sick to think of how much my children, and myself, liked his books, when they were younger. I spent a fortune on them. And now I hear he probably didn't even write them. Although maybe it's just as well. He got the bloody money for them though! Hope the ghostwriter name is/are made public some day so they can get the credit.
That's surprising about Mark Owen. So he's another dirty bastard then![]()
I agree. It’s making me think that it’s not true at all - but he thought that the shock / horror reactions would be hilarious. He would laugh it all off, saying of course it’s not true, etc. Not thinking for a moment, how his sister would feel about it.The thing is I could believe he tried to put it in to weird staff/readers out, more than I believe it’s true. It’s about right that he thought it would be “funny”.
It would be pretty wild that someone in the 2000s would genuinely say they shagged their sister and be entirely bewildered that other people thought it shouldn’t be repeated.
I feel like Nicholas Lyndhurst knows something and it's why he seems to have distanced himself from him in recent years; case in point, he's very notably absent from the new Only Fools thing on Gold.He is known to be friends with Paedos and something happened in his house with a few. There has also been stories for years about him doing stuff at a hang gliding club years back and he has the same stories hanging around him like Saville...the BBC know as do the police who have had people report him to them and those who did were either ignored or told it would be investigated and nothing happened. Not sure if it's true or not but when he dies, I do think stories will come out about sexual harassment as he himself has let slip about things he did back in the day he thought was 'funny' that would now get him in trouble. Worse still, there are people who are defending it because he is a 'national treasure'.

Rumors claim David Jason had ties with a problematic gliding club!
As David Jason trended on social platforms, many looked for his details which revealed his criminal history with the Gliding Club!thesuperslice.com
Even if they did, who's going to get the boot? the 'talent' or the camera/lights/sound person who can be replaced within 5 minutes. My oldest did her degree in film and TV production, I'm SO happy she's chosen not to work in the industryEnabled by commissioners giving him tv series, and agents, talk show bookers etc it’s not down to the studio crew to call it out
It's a difficult situation.I can’t dispute his claims obviously but this guy always came across as fairly unstable (imo) and I think he’s actually been in treatment/sectioned since, according to what I’ve heard. Not a fan of ML or especially DW, but when this guy released some phone messages ML sent him they really didn’t seem incriminating or weird? I thought maybe it was just me, but most of the comments from people agreed.
The wrong uns' all seem to hide behind a cosy, family friendly facade. Rolf Harris, Savile ect.Don't forget Russell Brand.'s children's books.
Enabled by commissioners giving him tv series, and agents, talk show bookers etc it’s not down to the studio crew to call it outWho were enabled because the crew around them were complicit and silent
His most recent book was his Christmas book published in late October, which he's still been promoting because the stories last week about him not having his son for Christmas got their quotes from the press rounds of the book."HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Perhaps they're still happy to profit from his previous work?

He's very well known to have become quite withdrawn, even reclusive though, particularly after the death of his son. I'm sure he's pretty much said that himself. It's nothing to do with David Jason or his (very tenuous) links to some awful people. This is true, and I definitely didn't assume they'd be great friends IRL, but him not appearing when all the other main (living) cast members are is odd. Supposedly it's because he doesn't like to look back on his work, but hmm.

Why Nicholas Lyndhurst is missing from the Only Fools and Horses reun…

In all honesty yes I didHave you pulled that figure out of thin air? Seems ott imo
His sales are now shit and the publishers have a new CEO so she probably thought they can get rid of his expensive deal.
If memory serves, he did the same to ex Hollyoaks actor Jeremy Edwards at a charity performance, pulling his jeans and boxers down while Jeremy struggled to stop his genitals being exposed and u could tell that David was going hell for leather trying to strip him against his will. If that happened anywhere else it would be called sexual assault/attempted rape but for some reason, because it was in front of an audience for charity, its called entertainment.I saw Little Britain Live a number of years back and the Des Kaye scene then concerned me. They got a few of the audience up on stage, mixed ages, but Walliams persistently targeted this young male who claimed to be 18 and did all this “jokes” with a sausage. It ended up with Walliams in character stripping the poor boy off his trousers whilst the boy attempted to get away from him. The audience loved it and the “joke” clearly went down well but when the poor boys face was beamed on the big screen you could tell he was mortified, embarrassed and abused. Turned out the boy was there with his parents. Fast forward a year and I saw the show again and again the exact thing happened. The youngest male chosen was the one selected for the OTT sexual touching.
This was circa 2006/7. Before the children’s books, the reality shows and his royal awards.
