His dog went missing the other week and half of Brighton was out looking for it for him. I'd have joined had it been for anyone else, but with my luck, I'd have found the bloody thing and had to meet him to return it

I can't stand him, but will stick up for him in this instance. If he's with his kid don't be invading private family time and don't be acting all paparazzi by taking a photo without asking him first. Out and about you wouldn't take a photo of a randomer and different rules shouldn't apply just because someone is famous.

He’s their best selling children’s author. His newest book Santa and Son is still at number 9 in amazons children’s best sellers list. Where did you get the notion that his sales are shit? I mean I’m sure they are now but they weren’t before he got canned. HC had to pay off a member of staff. There is some very big shit that’s about to come out about him. I had the misfortune of my visiting grandson wanting me to read him one of his books this Christmas
All the female characters were ridiculed, ugly and very very angry.
Not the sort of book I would chose for a child to find entertaining.

Like many others on here, I never found LB funny, I've never found DW funny and I absolutely have seen him on certain shows acting wholely inapropriately and often wondered why he gets booked and more importantly, why his peers laugh and go along with his vile abusive behaviour.

Not only is he an absolute knob but I've also learnt on here that he himself has a big knob - do we think these 2 things go hand in hand??

I was listening to the Vanessa Feltz radio programme this morning on BBC Radio London, and his books were discussed. Many adults didn’t like them and said they are Roald Dahl rip offs.

He’s on the One Show tonight.

Yes I’d say you can tell his been inspired by Roald Dahl but absolutely not on par with him at all (not that talented!).

I feel conflicted with celebrities having book deals, on the one hand I’m all for people, Children in particular reading books but, these celebs get book deals as easy as a hot dinners, they also have special deals with book chains to sell more, where the authors that have worked their backsides off who are not known get little to no recognition and no special promotion or deals. It’s unfair, and half of these celebs writing skills are awful (Giovanna fletcher for example).

I've also seen it mentioned he had very fragile mental health one xmas after graduating and his mum found him after a suicide attempt. I don't feel sorry for the cunt at all but I do for his kid.

Ah sorry, I didn't realise he was with his son His son doesn't deserve to have the trauma of seeing his Dad being arrested Hopefully his Mum will collect him, and then an arrest will happen shortly afterwards.

I know it'll still affect the poor child though. His selfish narcissistic Dad hasn't thought of his sons welfare one bit, whilst he's been a prolific sex offender ....

And DW will definitely play on his MH now just like Schofe, but maybe he should think of the Mental Health of those he's abused before asking us to feel sorry for him...

Not sure what to make of all this stuff about DW - not because i am a fan. I am anything but. I also think there is something about him that makes the hair stand up on my neck and makes the internal warning bells go off. His behaviour makes me feel uncomfortable and I find his "humour" bizarre to say the least.

He does not ( and hasn't ever) made me laugh. I did not like Little Britain - based on an episode I did watch and as result I didn't watch Come Fly With Me. I am trying to recall why I didn't like either show at the time - I would like to say because I didn't like both Lucas & Walliams mocked anyone who wasn't able bodied, thin, white or physically attractive. BUT I imagine it's because I just didn't find it all that funny.

Despite what has happened with HL and the Telegraph article - not sure that this is when the whole truth will emerge. I assume his lawyers/ PR team are all holding up a carpet and trying to sweep it under. This stuff wont stay quiet forever though - these types of story rarely do. It feels like its just scratched the surface of what's to come.

I met him at a work party, years ago. I always had a bit of “a thing” for him which was extinguished as soon as I spoke to him. He was horrible, so rude.
