I feel like Nicholas Lyndhurst knows something and it's why he seems to have distanced himself from him in recent years; case in point, he's very notably absent from the new Only Fools thing on Gold.

I’ve noticed Nicholas Lyndhurst has distanced himself a lot from people since his son died. There was something in the paper where a source said David was supporting Nicholas like a brother but it turned out that wasn’t true.

I once had to read a few of his kids books against my will. I thought they were horrible. Not in a fun The Twits kind of way, but in a way that I thought children should not be encouraged to think.

Like Gangster Granny begins with the lad not liking his granny because she's boring and old fashioned. ...You mean, she's an old lady? Who doesn't like their granny because she's an old lady?

So she starts doing her gangsta act to impress her grandson, because she's sad he doesn't like her. I guess I'm being too literal here, but it made me think of all the old grandparents who would read or watch this story with their grandkids, and worry their grandkids felt like this about them. Most people would like to be more "fun" and "cool" for their grandkids, but being elderly limits your energy and your physical capabilities. They can't just suddenly start being cool.

I know, I'm reading too much into it, but I thought it was bizarrely mean spirited.

Then there was one where a teacher was nicknamed Mrs Fuzziwuzzi or something "because of her frizzy hair" - she was black!! Wtf!!

This isn’t true.
There was a character who was a teacher called Ms Tutelage and had curly hair, which caused Jack Monroe to absolutely lose her shit about “racism” because she’s never heard the word “tutelage” before so she decided that it was a made-up word mocking the characters race, race inferred because she had curly hair and a “made up” or “funny sounding” name.

Walliams can fuck off though. I saw him and Matt Lucas at the start of their careers and they were near getting attacked by the audience they were so vile.

The comments on the DM articles are infuriating and brainless. It so reminds me of the Schofield “unwise but not illegal” nonsense. They say “he’s only done x,y,z what’s the girl complaining about”, without realising the x,y,z in question are classic examples of grooming behaviour. They are totally unable to read between the lines and seem naive as to how the press works around things like this.

This one is absolutely bonkers and despite everything I don't believe it is true. If it was someone who had got hold of a copy would have leaked it in some way. You wouldn't read that and keep it to yourself.

Anyone just heard him on Radio X this morning. He has a podcast coming out.

He was deliberately creepy. Within 10 mins, mentioned the word kids as many times as he could. Asked if Moyles had kids. Was flippant when asked about his own son. The crews moved it on to talking about oasis.

The cast made it jokey but it sounded like he was being weird on purpose. Moyles completely called him out on being weird and joked only matt lucas was allowed back.

Part of his shtick is to make people deliberately uncomfortable. Some comedians can make this work, but he comes across too (genuinely) creepy and untrustworthy so it always backfires imo.

Hes always creeped me out and having the seen the video of him larking about on stage with young men (I'd say maybe around 19/20) trying to pull their trousers down (successfully cus you see 1 of the lads bums, I think they just about managed to hide their willy's!) And also dry humping them on stage.

Yes, though he is holidaying with his son. It was mentioned in those feel sorry for him lonely at xmas teaser stories earlier in the week. I've also seen it mentioned he had very fragile mental health one xmas after graduating and his mum found him after a suicide attempt. I don't feel sorry for the cunt at all but I do for his kid.
