The stigma can be tiresome. It generally seems to be more of an issue for people outwith the relationship than the two people actually in it.

You sound like me! I'm very young for my age and don't look it either ( apparently) and I've dated some really lovely younger guys. My 2 relationships over the last 5/6 years which were short both of them were younger. I've been caught out twice though..both times they told me they were older than they were - old soul in a young bod definitely applied here- one of them on his profile said he was 33, turned out he was 24! I was horrified and ended it soon after. Age really shouldn't be a factor but I draw the line at a 20 year age gap!

So.

What’s the unwritten rules for keeping tinder when you’re waiting for next dates. I think I’m going to delete apps and then concentrate on this guy and see where it leads. I’m on holiday for 10 days anyway so won’t exactly be swiping in Spain and then we will meet a few days after I get back anyway so. Hopefully I won’t have to re install it.

The only thing that’s annoyed me is he didn’t even compliment me on how I looked but after the date he just said he really enjoyed it so

I’d wait until your are back home and have had another date or two. You don’t have to open the apps but I’d want to see if we could keep up the momentum. Keep up the texting though or it will fade out fast.

Well I’ve just remind myself why I don’t have social media. Just used my mums to stalk a guy I was seeing just before lockdown (a few nice dates, came to my house a few times for a drink film etc). I actually been considering texting him due to the fact we only didn’t work because of distance between us and me working days him working nights. So anyway I checked his fb to see if he was single before hand and he is.
Click on his likes and it’s loads of girls from round my area! (Not very nice ones either) When he lives in another city! Ick ick ick. Honestly their for everyone now lol it’s put me in a mood but I guess it’s a sign to not contact him. I could cry though social media makes nothing/no one exclusive or private anymore

Hey all, re the settling thing...I can't do it. I tried, with a lovely guy actually, but we were so different in respect of our value base etc, he didn't work, smoked weed etc, and in the end I just couldn't settle for that. Though I felt really shallow doing so as he was like my best mate & a really caring guy. Yes it is a petty thing i just found it odd how he knows other women from where i live when he’s in a whole different city. Guess a leopard never changes its spots lol. Mind it put me off contacting him and that’s the main thing, I don’t wanna go backwards wanna go forwards!
