Hi all,
I wondered if I could get some advice on how to support a partner that is grieving? The death was extremely unexpected and it’s really affected him mentally. I feel useless. I try to remind him I’m there whenever he needs (albeit by phone/text because he lives abroad). I can tell communication is hard for him at the moment as I am only hearing from him intermittently, which I totally understand. I do, and I hate myself for saying this, feel worried that he may not come back to me after this. I know that’s such a selfish worry
but yes. Any advice welcome

I would let him know that he can always reach out to you. I might send him flowers or a thoughtful gift.
Yep. There were other reasons, but the sex just wasn't good and never got better - if anything, it got worse

it might be alcohol free…
Could also be an old photo... I used to drink a lot but cut down recently to the point where I date people now who drink a little/not at all

But I Need some advice tho, I’ve been talking to a man recently (a week now). All guns blazing chat about he can’t wait to meet me, sent me screenshots of myself including my WhatsApp dps. I went to a wedding at the weekend and shared some pics etc very complimentary. Said he wants to do something including for my birthday (insane it’s next month). He’s told me our star signs are compatible etc. He has seemed super keen. we’ve done voice notes and he would call me after work. We can speak for 40 mins etc. We have our first date on Saturday couldn’t do it sooner due to our locations and work/mid week and other plans..
Anyway the last message he sent last night he was at his grandmothers and said he’d message me later when he got in. I didn’t respond but just assumed he would. Anyway I’ve not heard anything from him and now it’s 24 hours..
I guess He’s not interested right?
