I’m already bored of these Thailand vlogs to be honest, at least with his London vlogs we recognise and know the places and can visit them based on his recommendations. Who gives a toss about Thailand? The comments on his latest video about finding and renting an apartment were super critical, so many commenters think like us and reckon he’ll be back within the year. He’s gone over there and is spending like there’s no tomorrow, piling up on food and renting an expensive apartment, keep this up and he’ll be out of money in no time, some people are saying he’s absolutely minted but I don’t believe he is. Not so long ago he was crying hard up saying he was going to have to move back to Margate and flog his bikes and I think people forget that. I do wish him luck and I hope he comes to no harm whilst he’s over there but so far he appears to be rushing into everything and spending as if the money is burning a hole in his pocket. The sensible thing to do would have been to take his time, do proper research and move after Christmas with an apartment already lined up once he got over there and a little part time job just as a side earner should YouTube not be enough to live on.
I still don’t get how with just 32 thousand subscribers he seems to think he can make a living from YouTube. It’s not as if he lives on a tight budget, if he did then it might just work but he spends as if he’s loaded! He’s the expert though of course, and his replies are very blunt and sometimes quite rude, even to his fans and from what I’ve seen of Thailand so far it just looks like a poverty stricken shanty town full of neon lit bars, I’m sure it has beautiful places but I’m not seeing them. I don’t know why I devote hours of my life obsessing over this situation but it’s hilarious - it’s basically watching someone’s midlife crisis unfold before your very eyes. His fans think we’re all just jealous but honestly you couldn’t pay me to move over there, I’d like to visit just to say I’ve been but I certainly wouldn’t choose to live there. I think a lot of the negative comments on his vlogs actually come from a place of concern, people are trying to give him helpful and practical advice but he refuses to listen so now we just have to watch the car crash unfold before our very eyes. It’s so predictable too - he’ll meet a Thai woman, she’ll fleece him and he’ll be back within the year, I really hope I’m wrong but I fear I’m not.
they’re not very cultured though so for them it literally is just a case of sitting in bars all day! His mam said all the men are miserable, fat, old and sleazy! Sounds like a lovely place! I know London and the UK in general has lots of downsides right now but honestly I’d far rather live in London than Thailand, there’s way more to do over here, it’s just stupidly expensive that’s all.
