Same, I’m a new parent and I have this mam friend who constantly brags about her amazing career and how much money she earns and how she’s buying a huge 5 bed £650k house where the local footballers live with huge grounds and how her husband earns £85k a year. Both me and my husband earn minimum wage and often struggle to make ends meet then you get tw*ts like this constantly showing off and bragging, it’s such a weird flex. If people have money then generally I’m pleased for them, especially if they’ve actually worked hard for it, there’s nothing wrong with having money but if you constantly show off and brag about it then it’s just weird and eventually costs you friendships. I’m very close to cutting off this mam friend now as I haven’t known her long and I don’t owe her anything, she’s insufferable. I think it’s very rude to talk about how much you earn all the time. My husband’s parents are exactly the same - it seems to be a thing with rich people, just like with vegans, how do you know someone has money? Because they’ll always tell you!

I'm starting to notice more than a few critical comments appearing on his "Setting the record straight" response video, as well. I cant understand people behaving like they are close personal friends with the guy. Someone even suggested comments directed at DJ can only be funny if DJ personally finds it funny. Someone also suggested that DJ is thin skinned, I was going to reply that I'm not surprised due to the large area is has to stretch across. Fortunately I am a very lovely, kind person and wouldn't dream of posting something like this.

As someone said in the comments, he genuinely looks lost out there.
I watch proper trave vloggers like Bald and Bankrupt, Harold Baldr, Simon Wilson etc etc. When they go places like Thailand, they do some proper research on where to go, what to do etc etc so they aren't just walking about aimlessly like DJ.

He has no one to blame but himself for getting fined again, it must have upset him because he hasn’t posted for a couple of days now. His prep for this whole thing has been incredibly half arsed, I’ve always known he was a bit daft but not this daft! He would have been far better doing his research properly and taking his time getting everything sorted before he moved over, have Xmas with his family and then moved over there in Feb. It’s almost as if he was running away from someone or something. It’s ended up costing him more and I have a sneaky suspicion that the Thai police are corrupt at the best of times and are basically just taking the piss out of him because he’s a foreigner. Did he just move over there with bugger all prepared and just crossed his fingers and hoped for the best? What did he think was going to happen? He looked like he was going to cry in the rant video, I have a feeling it won’t be long before he’s back judging by the annoyed look on his red face!

I assume this has come about because he's been told he needs the digital nomad visa or a work visa to earn money off Youtube, and if he stays there on a retirement visa he can't vlog and earn an income to live on, so Catch 22?
Every single thing he's mentioned in this latest video is something he was advised about or warned against in comments (and on here) at the time but he dismissed and ignored because he knew better. Moving out there after only one trip without getting a better feel for the place and the people, the International Drivers Permit debacle, the visa, the first posh expensive condo etc etc. But now it's all someone else's fault because he was badly advised???

To make a half decent fist of things on social media, especially YouTube, you’ve got to be good at what you do. Whether it’s the actual content or the editing but sadly the Dazzler has neither of these skills. If you were unfortunate enough to meet him and were unaware of who he was the last thing you’d think of would be a YouTuber. He’s got absolutely no personality, definitely got narcissistic traits and seems to a bit of a chauvinist too. Not to mention a tad on the racist side. I’m almost certain that he’ll be back in the UK in 2025 and wouldn’t be surprised if he tries his luck in Tenerife…..we’ll wait and see.
