The girlfriend’s style in general isn’t my cup of tea. Her body is incredible though, judging from the many old underwear shots on her Insta.

I love that he loves his girlfriend and she doesn’t feel the need to shave under her arms for him 😂

I’ve heard there’s been a bit of backlash with them cancelling R&L to do the VMAs. I think the festival circuit is quite well connected so I don’t know if it was the wisest move.

It is extremely disappointing, but if you have Twitter, check out the thread from user musicals_esc_me - it's very enlightening as to the reasons why. I think a lot of UK fans who couldn't make the London gig next year had got tickets pretty much mainly for them, so the backlash that I have seen on stan twt has been very bad.

Reddit user LemonVulture has made some comments on the topic that I felt summarised it well:

It's business as usual. I have mentioned this in a previous thread, but I had a feeling that after their LA era, they were going to shift gears and change direction. Once "SUPERMODEL" was released, my feeling was confirmed. Some fans are neutral, some fans are positive, some fans are negative, and some fans are livid.

I didn't agree with the cancellation of their show at R&L, but at this point, what is done is done and it's water under the bridge. The Brit fans have every right to remain pissed and never listen to their music ever again, but I think everyone else, outside of Twitter, has pretty much moved on.

I do believe it's important to remember that they themselves never expected to have such an explosion of international fame seemingly overnight, so they are trying to milk it for what it's worth, and understandably so. They must strike the iron while it's hot before everything runs cold for them because there is no guarantee they'll have longevity similar to other rock n' roll acts like The Rolling Stones.

Finally, they are no longer teenagers making music for fun. They are young adults in their early twenties. As their brains enter the final stages of development, their priorities are changing and they are going to be more focused on creating a brand and a business that will build a solid foundation for them to last a lifetime.

Let me make it clear, I am in no way shape or form shaming fans who are rightfully pissed, but I was grateful to discover the Twitter thread as it gave insights to how the music industry operates and a different perspective that honestly makes a lot of sense. For this particular situation, I don't think it's fair to put all the blame on the band and spew such vitriol at the band members and I say this as someone who was highly critical of the decision to pull out of R&L.

Oh Stephen. You need a cold flannel and a little lie down..... Me too though. He would totally get it

Although my opinion on them is probably changed forever after pulling out of Reading and Leeds. Seems a spectacularly stupid decision. They will lose a lot of credibility. Style over substance....

More than a little lie down.

Must admit, none of the music has ever been much for me. I'm more about Damiano and Ethan being hot as duck. 😂

But yeah, not a good look to ditch the festivals for VMAs.

So the guys are now doing a meet & greet in Roblox for MTV? I'm sorry, but if they want to be taken seriously as a rock band, they're going about it the wrong way!
