I can’t even imagine what these “luxury” projects she’s teasing are going to entail or look like. She has nowhere near the skill set required to pull off designing an actual large scale luxury home. That requires A LOT of expertise.

I guarantee you every architect, builder, tradesman she would need to interact with on a project of that scope would laugh her out of the building. They tend to be a condescending bunch anyways to female interior designers, and that’s when the designer is imminently qualified. They will have no patience for an idiot like Crystal.

These concepts would be handed over to the real professional and they take it to next level and develop the detail. She is unqualified, none of it would work. She relys on her manifesting and vision. She would have no clue on how much things to cost, cause she has been specializing in Kmart and ikea DIY. This is where she would be laughed out of the building. Others would have to fix it all up/start from scratch.

I saw the curtains in Byron (real Byron) bunnings the other day, It had the word crystal on the front about 2cm long. Other curtains from same brand had other names on it, none of which I recognized. If they paid her much for this, I would be very surprised. It all looked so cheap and nasty.

If she ever hires staff you best believe it will be for no other reason than to do the design work that she is too unskilled to do, not because she is so successful and busy that she has to have support staff to keep up.
I wonder if next year is going to be such a big year that she’ll finally be able to buy herself a car and take out a long-term lease on someplace to live?

Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m wondering if the new mysterious business partner is already connected to the industry somehow?

Like maybe her husband is a builder or a developer and they thought they would bring Crystal on board simply to bring a social media presence to a new offshoot business they are launching to complement their existing business?

For instance, say the husband owns a construction company and has decided to open an interior design department w/in his company. Perhaps they’re bringing Crystal in primarily to give them an immediate PR boost and access to her audience of 117,000 Insta followers. This would also make sense of the ‘full team coming next year’ comment. They wouldn’t be Crystal’s team per se but simply the staff needed for this new branch of the husband & wife’s business venture. It would make sense of the fact that she doesn’t have an ounce of the knowledge needed to execute the luxury design projects she keeps bragging about. They know this and they wouldn’t care about that because they had planned on staffing the new biz with competent people anyway that can execute the nuts and bolts of the projects.

It would also explain the work wife’s contacts to get these projects in the first place.

she is craving connection and has been bamboozled by Crystal (I feel like I read a story where she said that she was a client who they connected over common goals???).

She is desperate to be in the interiors world and hasn’t done her due diligence.

She clearly has more money than sense if she thinks Crystals mentoring is the best option.

I’m pretty well connected on the GC in the boss babe world and no one knows her. Somehow she still screams MLM even though she’s not known.

i feel that their “team” will be a bunch of $5/hour VAs doing stuff in Canva and SketchUp designers.
