This is where I’m currently at;
My neighbour just walked past my kitchen window, at the exact time I was eating some leftovers with a giant serving spoon, straight out of a wok.
There was eye contact made mid binge..

Level of fucks I give...absolutely zero.

Oh I know. It's been reported in other places too, though. I had a quick google.
They've named him too. :(
Gosh this made me cry. That poor, poor boy all alone without anybody in his final moments. And all the lovely people donated to his GoFundMe in a time like this were income is so unstable too. All around so sad.

Critically ill patients with Covid19 in Ireland will be asked to take part in a clinical trial on how to treat the disease.
The trial will test the effects of different interventions for Covid19 patients, who are being treated in intensive care units. These interventions include antiviral drugs and immunomodulatory drugs.
St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin and University Hospital Galway will begin the trialing these interventions next week, which is part of a global research effort to tackle the pandemic.
If a patient is too unwell to give consent, their next of kin could then be asked for permission.

God that’s an awkward position to be put in as a family. Necessary though.

17 more COVID-19 related deaths brings no to 71.

325 new cases brings cases to 3,235

Poor kid.
Hopefully the only good in that was that he was in an induced coma so wouldnt have known he was alone.
bleeping savage for his family though.
Sadly this is the new reality of people dying in hospitals now 😔

it made me cry too. I know he probably wasn't aware but both when my son was sick, and in his final days, all he wanted was me and his Dad close, even when he was really confused. it breaks my heart for both him and the family. I can't imagine not being able to be there. Watching your child die is horrible but knowing that I was there with him is a huge comfort for me, and I hope it was for my son too.

I grow more and more terrified of what's to come everyday. My husband still had to work and it's unbearable not knowing if he will stay safe and therefore us as a family too.

I cannot imagine what families who are experiencing the worst of this are going through.

My children are starting to notice the difference in our routine and how we do things, they're beginning to ask why we aren't seeing family or when school will be back. One of them is really struggling.
All I can say is, everyone is staying safe but we will all see eachother again soon. And of hope in the meantime everyone stays safe and well.

That’s another “no underlying health conditions” where a post-mortem hasn’t been done so we do not know if he had undiagnosed issues.

It is amazing and in general I’m glad with the response by government and citizens - thinking of the huge number of people that signed up to volunteer for instance. But I must admit there is something about that temporary hospital and all those beds in that enormous aircraft hanger of a space that feels more apocalyptic than ever.
Worth also noting that it’s far from unique, Italy and Spain have organised a similar set up and the javitz centre in New York has been transformed too. States rights and strong governors meaning not everything is decided by the president are a saving grace for Americans right now.
China, too actually built two specialist hospitals in a fortnight. I remember thinking that was such a scary indication of the crisis there, I really can’t believe a month or so later what it’s come to.
Add to that the temporary tent hospital in Central Park . Just saw that on channel 4 news along with a hospital in Brooklyn with patients literally lining the corridors. This is the richest country in the world? Horrific.

Honestly I feel the same, my husband is still working (hgv mechanic) and they have changed his hours (used to work shift work) now he's working 8am - 6pm he only sees our son for 30mins a day, I'm at home.with a 5 month old and I am going out of my mind really wish I could see my mum being on my own is really starting to affect me like you I know others have it worse I can't complain
it drives you crazy. Takes me back to the newborn days but worse because no one can come and see you or you can’t go to anyone’s house even

Is anyone else feeling tentatively hopeful after the BBC briefings and then have it destroyed by everyone on Twitter? Think I need to deleted some apps on my phone x

Ive spent most of my days in my nightie (not the same one!) if im honest.
I do this little thing now, where i get out early to get the washing on the line so i can stay in it. I always feel a little bit proud of myself when i step back inside, like a little nightie washing ninja. All the neighbours peacefully sleeping, whilst im out there, lording it up in my bedtime best.
Then i chuckle to myself when i see them outside, fully dressed, pegging their's up a few hours later. I feel like I've won some sort of competition 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, i realise that is pathetic and sad but it brings me joy so 🤷‍♀️
Hahahahaha this cracked me up as I love getting the washing out before my neighbours too 🤣🤣🤣🤣

... and it was not trashy , I could drink champagne.... whenever I walked over to the self service bar to pour a glass.
Sigh. Remember holidays? Days out? Restaurants?
Me neither.
However.. no need for a bra when you’re sitting indoors 🤷‍♀️

Yes sadly people can have heart conditions and no idea about it until a postmortem is done.

Cheers thanks China 👍🏻
The UK could also have done a lot more....

Old article:

"The budget for public health services is now £850 million lower than in 2015/16 and by 2021 the budget will have been cut by 25% from its 2015/16 level in real-terms.

At the end of 2018 £1bn of cuts to public health services and the training of nurses and doctors over the following year were concealed within Government plans to boost the NHS budget by £20bn by 2023."

It's also not like Event 201 didn't take place either only last year too. Funny that it was a coronavirus in the exercise as well.
