Yes, he seems extremely laid back with his parenting I think, too a laid back. Indie should be allowed some snacks.

Are they isolating the travellers they are bringing back to the UK or not?

Bobbie from Towie came back from tenerife last week and went for a wonder round the shops and no quarantine.
I think they’re depending on people self-isolating which isn’t great

I started this thinking I'd read all those books I've been meaning to read, work out everyday ...Day 18 - I haven't even got a book off the shelf yet, I spend a lot of time thinking about working out (but haven't yet) and meal times seem to be 2pm ish and 10pm ish with lots of snacks.

See this is the sort of thing I was hoping for my firm to do! They've told us that we don't have the IT infrastructure to work from home, and the firm who deal with our IT are unable to set it up at this time! It's so concerning.
My boss had been waiting for our IT firm to do it but them sorted it himself as they told us it would take a while. We are a really small firm. We used a website called gotomypc to set up from home. I have no idea how it works but my boss was able to set it up himself. You should take a look.

I’m finding this pandemic he has messed me up. In 7 years I’ve never forgotten to take a single dose of any of the medications I take, yet I’ve forgotten a few times this last 2 weeks, so unlike me. My mind is just too full of information overload, worry and anxiety. I can’t read, can’t do my hobbies, off my food and just in complete brain fog. Living in survival mode really does change your brain chemistry.

As i told you a while ago my husband was sent home on full pay for 12 weeks because he's type 2 diabetic ,he's had a text from work today saying he can go back tomorrow as long as he signs a form to say it his wish ......... So IMO things must be calming down as when he rang a couple days after they laid him off he was told ,no sorry its government guidelines

I really don’t see why things are calming down when everywhere is gearing up for the worst. There is going to be an explosion of ventilated cases soon.

Surely you can do your job from home?
I've already asked the partners in the firm - they've said we don't have the IT infrastructure to get this arranged. They can't see how it would work with us working on hundreds of paper files - not possible to share files out apparently. I just don't know, to me it seems like poor management

I think I'm going to have to look into this myself, and then fire it over to him in an email and just explain my concerns and that I really would feel safer from home. It's times like this when bosses should be supporting workers, but I feel like my health and wellbeing is bottom of their list of concerns.

It is odd isn’t it, why not just have a 3 per item limit? I have over a hundred items on my asda shop! Only one item I’ve ordered the maximum of 3 of. Family of 4. The idea is that it will hopefully mean we don’t have to go out or order another shop for at least 2 weeks, plus with the kids being home literally 24/7 we need more than usual. Also my cupboards will basically be bear as I’ve been trying to use what we have so things need restocking.

I saw a suggestion last week on a lockdown group that said we should ban people using trollies round the supermarket to stop them buying ‘too much’. It’s just silly, I couldn’t fit my weekly shop into a shopping basket! Someone then replies saying “do a daily shop then”... are these people thick???? Surely it’s better to shop for the week and only need to go out once than shop every day. We’re not even supposed to go to the shops every day

Oh and I can’t see all this calming down yet.. I think a lot of businesses are just trying to push their luck.

I certainly won’t be calming down any time soon. I’ve posted before saying I’m worried due to my BMI and also having psoriasis. I’ve had a wheezy chest since January, only every now and then but enough to freak me out now. Rang my Dr this morning who said in the normal run of things they’d let it run it’s course but they’re being overly cautious now so have prescribed me antibiotics and an inhaler. Quite relieved as I was worried if I do get Covid 19 I’d be off to a bad start with an already wheezy chest.

Things are definitely not calming down, we haven't hit the peak yet never mind got to a point when normal life can return.

Haha this made me laugh, intrigued to know why you think Joe is a prick though
He's an absolute tool. Cannot stand him.

"I really don't see the big deal people make when they have a baby and make a big thing about their lives changing. You need to make it clear from the start that the baby fits into your life. The minute you allow your baby to dictate anything is when it goes wrong "

And then some other shite he spouts about you can do anything with a baby and people just use a baby as an excuse to stop loving their lives.

That they are certain of. There's a wait of at least three weeks to have an autopsy so the ONS figures will be revised up hugely.
