What kind of cough do you get I've got a tickly cough.
A tickly cough is normally dry. Have you got any other symptoms?

If you get a mild case your cough can still last upto 3 weeks but you can go out after 7 days even if you still have the cough but you shouldn't go out after 7 days if you still have a temp.

The photos from the excel I find somewhat reassuring. Looks far much better than the Italian photos we saw and they'll apparently be ready before hospitals are out of capacity

Also that they said in the press conference it would have 500 beds which seems less shocking than when it was said it would have 4,000 beds.

There was a post a couple of threads back with a link to a google document stating how various companies had dealt with this and whether it was negative or positive. Does anyone know what the link is?

Most hospitals aren't allowing home births atm.

My economist friend pointed out that deaths have been increasing by roughly 25% for the past few days. If that continues, the totals for the next four days will be around:

1365
1830
2452
3285

He says it’ll probably slow down around that point if the UK follows the same path as Italy/Spain

Obviously he could be very wrong and there are more qualified sources out there, just thought it was an interesting observation

I wish these idiots who aren’t following the guidelines would stop for a minute and think about what they are doing.
They are contributing to the spread of the virus and they do not understand how lucky we are to still be able to go out for daily exercise.
The whole situation is having such a negative impact on mental health already, the effect is going to be so much worse if we go into a stricter lockdown and can’t even go out for a daily walk.

I would do anything to be bored at home isiolating. But i'm a key worker (army medical admin)and just been told we are to be open 24/7 soon and being asked to work overtime. My husbabd is vulnerable and everyday i'm risking his health. I've been surrounded by Covid for a couple if weeks now. I don't know what to do. Work have told me i have to carry on. Either way I feel selfish.

Honestly, I would self isolate with my husband. You've done your bit. It's time to look after ourselves and our loved ones. Jobs will come and go, family is forever.

Possibly allergy related then?

Ah OK.

Could be acid indegestion which can cause a cough and a breathless feeling?

My Dad always said to me that "your notice of death goes in the paper on a Wednesday and your job advert on the Thursday"

Protect your family first, no one else will x

You're so welcome. My partner is a key worker and we have agreed that he has done the best he can but now we need to protect ourselves and our children. Every day he goes out to work is another risk that he could bring this awful virus home to our family. Hope it all works out for you! X

I am sorry love. I’m an ICU deputy sister and all our leave has been cancelled, and all our short days. I wish I could self isolate as I have numerous health conditions but my conscience won’t let me. X
