I’m sick of it!!!
Im sick of these companies and their desire to update me every bleeping day about how they’re doing, we’re not best friends, you’re not getting my credit card details and we’re not “all in this together”

That’s why I think there should be a single parents shopping hour as well as the elderly and key workers hour.
You could shop without the judgemental looks of others because you’re all in the same boat so will empathise and not judge. Also they’d hopefully be less busy so safer for the children too.

I had to laugh earlier, Uber Eats sending me their 3rd email this week "Uber Eats is still available".... Really Uber Eats??? REALLY??

They have a total of 4 places on there in West Cork, 3 of them Chinese and closed, and 1 a chipper that despite showing on my FKN app, when you try order anything from them EVER you get the "Sorry you are too far away" like why even bother displaying it if I cant have it!

GO AND ASK ME HOLE UBER EATS!

It's true it's been in the newspapers - tests should be ready by next week and will be able to get them from amazon and pharmacies but not sure about the cost

I have just returned from Asda, also popped into Iceland and Heron Foods. (They are all in the same shopping centre). All stores were marked up with 2m lines of tape. I am a lone parent and was able to take my 2 children in with me no problems. There was a short orderly queue to get into Iceland and a 1 in 1 out method. The security guard in there politely asked that I don’t let the kids stray and to keep them close but that is all. Plenty of toilet rolls, bread and milk. No pasta or handwash, tinned goods were sparse.

is anyone else getting a ton of emails, more than ever before/finding it impossible to unsubscribe to these pointless emails?
I keep throwing them straight into junk, I keep hitting “don’t want to receive updates from....”
Nothing, everyday yet another email.

I know the feeling. I also received 3 e-mails from Monica Vinader. Various e-mails from Superdrug, Boots, Tesco. So annoying!

Today I've had a zero news day, zero social media (until now) Played in the garden from 9-5. Eat outside, baby napped outside. Honestly cleared my head.

From today's official update this doesn't seem true.

Amazon are working on providing logistics to delivery tests where they need to be.

They won't just let people buy them willy nilly. There won't be enough and how do you make sure people have done them correctly or lying they have done one.

I am doing a lot better today thankfully :giggle:

Decided to get up out of bed, have a shower and put on clothes, so I adulted (yay!)
Still have that ache all over but the meds re really helping there as long as I don't move about too much.

My husband is still not 100% but he couldn't stay in bed for the last week, so I guess it probably slowed up his recovery.
