I don’t know but if they did call the person would just lie I should imagine. They aren’t going to admit to breaking the law if they can’t do the right thing in the first place are they?
Yeah, just awkward if they call and you can’t answer because you’re out. I suppose you could just say you were asleep or something?

This is the UK right now. 10 years of Tory rule, a government who appeared to be at war with disabled people and Brexit has caused general arrogance and a f you attitude towards other people. I don’t think we’re all like this but a lot of people are.

If the gov can break the rules why can’t the rest of us
The question should be why are these idiots in power in the first place?

Because of the idiots that keep voting them in, I’d imagine.

There’s no opposition though, starmer is handed a plate to make a coup and he can’t even manage that
Yeah, apparently the man doesn’t know what socialism is any more which is a sure sign he’s an ineffectual joke.

Following a conversation I had earlier today, a question:

After the complete and utter shitshow we've witnessed over the past two years, will people still vote Tory in future?

My feeling is yes, because what other alternative is there?

I certainly won’t but others will because for some reason they can’t understand that it’s a bad idea to have a Tory government if you rely on state schools, the NHS or any other public service. This lot have gone from bad to worse. I feel as though I’d even prefer to see David Cameron as pm again.

Edit: I said 10 years of Tory rule. Make that 12….. ugh.

Seems a bit strange to be saying about the lanyards after two years of this.

My other half is going on a ski trip to Bulgaria at the end of the month and trying to sort out what tests he needs for travel and the times and things for when to take the pre-departure ones and drop them off again to ensure enough turnaround time but them still being valid for the flight is giving me a headache.
Since I’ve started looking at options the requirements for tests have changed twice (once from our end and once from Bulgaria’s end) and it’s really no wonder people aren’t travelling as much. It’s put me right off doing it again in the near future. We are booking with Randox but his friend who is also going on the holiday doesn’t live anywhere near a drop box for them (would be a four hour round trip to drop off his test) so his only option for a pre-departure test is a local pharmacy at nearly £150! Insanity. That requirement only came in on Friday so it’s crazy when it’s so much money and something you haven’t budgeted for at all this close to the trip.
