I cannot see another lockdown happening at all. There is no support for it, politically or the public.

My mid-30s healthy, fit sister and brother in law have done this. They have said they will not see any one over Christmas until they've had the chance to get their boosters. I feel for their 5 year old and 18 month old child most of all, they're not been given the choice. It feels callous to call people brainwashed but I do feel desperately sad that so so many people are putting their lives on hold because of covid, in spite of the continuous lies from the government and evidence that shows anything more than a mild reaction would be rare.Lots of people seem to be effectively "locking down" themselves now because they're scared of catching COVID.
I am all for taking precautions for the things and people who matter to you but people are being absurdly over cautious about many things now, it is a definite culture of fear going on that's been driven by government messaging. My mid-30s healthy, fit sister and brother in law have done this. So many people dying for another lockdown and more restrictions and who seem to be thriving off of the drama and misery of it .. get a life! 🥲My friend is dying for another lockdown.. I’m almost at the point of blocking him over it. He doesn’t have much of a life ‘so it won’t effect’ him. He’s in his 30s and lives at home, never paid a bill or done a food shop in his life, he goes to work and straight back home - rinse and repeat everyday with no idea of how the world works.
He doesn’t understand the impact of having kids at home or how much the price of things have increased.
Even if it won't really affect him, why does he want one so badly? I feel like some people live for the drama of situations like this.My friend is dying for another lockdown.. I think for a lot of the more introverted people in society the lockdown was comforting because it allowed other people of the world to live like them for a time - I'm sure we've all had that feeling of pressure to go out on a Friday night, or feeling like a bum because you're say at home all weekend whilst your friends and family have plans. With everyone in that boat, for a while it was quite "nice" to have no social pressures etc for a short time.Even if it won't really affect him, why does he want one so badly? My son is 19 and having his booster this week because he’s worried he won’t be able to live a normal life next year if he doesn’t. I don’t want him to have it, I’m terrified incase he is injured by it, the heart risks terrify me. It’s so wrong people are feeling forced to do this.So it's now get the booster or no more pubs, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, concerts.......
Oh duck off.
For get the term Karen they should be called Pams.Even if it won't really affect him, why does he want one so badly? I feel like some people live for the drama of situations like this.
The pressure is disgusting! I can't imagine how hard it must be to be a teenager or a student right now and not want the jab but want to be able to go to nightclubs and bars etc, the main way you socialise at that age.My son is 19 and having his booster this week because he’s worried he won’t be able to live a normal life next year if he doesn’t. My mother in law is one of them. She's convinced that if she catches it she will die. She had cancer 11 years ago but the radiotherapy left her with weak lungs. She's terrified and is talking about not coming down on Christmas day now.Lots of people seem to be effectively "locking down" themselves now because they're scared of catching COVID.
My boyfriends dads always going on about how the pubs are going to close before Xmas and then there will be another lock down, he seems to thrive talking about it, he said he wouldn’t be bothered if there was another lockdown… yeah maybe because you don’t do anything apart from go to work or the supermarket anyway! So many people dying for another lockdown and more restrictions and who seem to be thriving off of the drama and misery of it .. get a life! 🥲
