that is so degradingI have a relative that was in the same boat. She got away and the difference in her is unreal. He had her so wore down and a shadow of her old self (she didn’t even notice). He controlled everything and the way he put her down and even in front of people was disgusting (was awkwardly laughed off). She never listened to people around her and thought he was the best and did loads for her etc.. until something bad happened and she realised and got away. The way conor talks about & makes fun of her online is sickening, that’s not normal/nice or funny. And also a leopard never changes their spots, they hide it and then it creeps back in.

I remember my first boyfriend, I was literally 18-23 when we were going out and he was kind of the same. He was a chef at the cafe where I had a part time job. He treated me awfully and I felt I couldn’t even say it to him incase he would dump me forever! When I went on a girls holiday he cheated on me with a married 45 year old chef from work. And still I felt that if I dumped him I would have nobody. Geography eventually put enough distance between us that I actually was able to stand on my own two feet and recognise that behaviour so as much as I am cross with Ellie, I see my 20 odd year old self in her and I actually feel sorry for her because no matter what my family or friends were telling me, there was no telling me. I was too ‘in love’

I went out with a guy like that as well when I had just started college. All went well until I saw his horrible temper and things got physical, he would constantly look through my phone and ask me who the guys in my college class were. I ended up after months finally getting rid of him, it was the best decision I made for myself and have thrived ever since
Love this for you, I hope Ellie finally gets away even though it’s ridiculous the way she goes on it’s definitely mentally draining and I’m sure he has some sort of hold on her, when he’s not aloud in your house you know somethings wrong

They are 100000% back seeing each other they've been spotted loads lately no reason to lie about that! I think its mad cringe breaking up every couple months because you've been caught cheating yet again and then bringing her back through your parents front door like nothings happened like even they must be sick of the revolving door relationship
