I have extremely thick, frizzy hair and although I invest in good quality hair products and a decent hairdryer, I cannot afford a Dyson especially during lockdown and this job instability.

He’s honestly to duck waited till the thread title changed before he surprised himself with a bleeping 300 quid hair dryer for his three hairs. The most unnecessary expensive purchase ever based on how much use he’ll get out of it. Could breathe too heavy on his hair and it’ll dry!

Don’t get me wrong - I have one. I am also blessed with long thick hair (I look like Hagrid when I wake up), and didn’t own a hairdryer for 20 years prior cos they made absolutely no difference. At the salon, I used to always end up with two stylists drying my hair at the same time, until my hairdresser used a Dyson on me and I was blown away (no pun intended!). I still am, when I can get my hair dry in 8 minutes (yes I’ve timed it lol) instead of 45 minutes.
But Maureen has no hair!!!!!!!!

Maybe Derek thought it being a Dyson it'd hoover up his exzeemah and flakey sunburnt skin peelings.
