Yes they did show the roof being taken down and he then said about the "budget umbrellas" being a better fit.

I did think "maybe you should have listened to the two women in the first place! Obviously they wanted the expensive option, but surely the failed canvas roof and the replacement" budget" umbrellas must not have been a cheaper option in the end. Silly Jeremy!
Ah.....thank you. Sorry I must have missed that bit. My mistake.

Has anyone seen the Clarkson's Farm Reddit? Absolutely chock full of thickos wondering if Clarkson is still alive, people thinking he's only just been diagnosed and baffled Americans asking why he didn't just water the fields.

I've nearly finished it. It's been terrific. Loved every minute.

My hubby doesn't like Clarkson but has really enjoyed it.

Gerald is brilliant and I really like Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa. She's not precious about getting stuck in. They're all great. Kaleb and even Cheerful Charlie.

I'm not sure the good people of Chadlington are going to be enjoying the success of this programme as much as Amazon! The traffic there of people going to Clarkson's shop is a bit crazy.
Same, my husband can't stand him but he suggested we watched it first after he heard from his friends that it was great! So glad we put it on, thoroughly enjoyed it!

The Daily Mail ran an article today comparing the price of the stuff at Diddly Squat Farm Shop and at supermarkets like Tesco and Aldi.

I'll assume there is no other news going on. An absolutely pointless and ridiculous article.

I've just looked on the farm web site and tbh I didn't see anything there, like jams and chutneys, that were ridiculously overpriced for a farm shop.
It's just clickbait bollocks I've seen several articles like it.

I noticed no mention was made of the canvas roof on the outside decking area being replaced with the giant umbrellas he was advised to splash out on in the first place. They couldn't help showing this had been done though by those inevitable shots they had to include of people dining out under them on opening day.

I’ve watched it relatively recently, not finished s4 yet as it’s a bit dull. How contrived is it? Seeing Kaleb on tour seems very different to how he was portrayed in early series was that all a bit set up or exaggerated for the tv series or has Kaleb just seen the opportunity to make some money. Did he ‘audition’ for the role? He’s not coming across well this series. Harriet was nice but she’s from Derbyshire right so must have auditioned rather than applied for a regular job as there must be young female farmers in the Cotswolds already?

Oh it's amazing.

Watching him genuinely fall in love with farming, even the hard work of it, and the awe he held the experts in was amazing.

It shocked me how much he feel in love with farming and how happy he was.

I didn’t realise it had just aired on TV and we tried to visit the shop last Saturday…. It didn’t go well 🤣
Oh no!

I bet it was a nightmare. Clarkson was tweeting apologies to the people of Chadlington the other day.

I'm sure it will calm down after a few weeks.

Yes and all that hard work and he only made £144 profit. 😳

We got prime for a week n watched it in 2 days, again we felt so sorry for him! If it wasn’t him the village wouldn’t have a problem I’m sure! The food in the restaurant was a bit fancy tho!

She said they're only interested in the brand rather than the message behind it or trying anything new. And it's well signed and advertised what's being sold there. It's just another fad, must see or have things.

I stand by that fact there should be a message in the programme about checking out your local farmer is up to rather than driving across the country to Clarkson's business venture and make him richer.
But the extra tourism he's brought can only be a good thing. Granted it's the Cotswolds and wealthy anyway but ya know 😬🤣
