Has anyone seen the Clarkson's Farm Reddit? Absolutely chock full of thickos wondering if Clarkson is still alive, people thinking he's only just been diagnosed and baffled Americans asking why he didn't just water the fields.

To be fair his diagnosis confused me, meaning the timing of it 🫤

I went to a farm in the USA on holiday last year and it had water sprinkler system. Yes, I have a child who asks a lot of questions and had to google it. Maybe instead of the robots he could buy a sprinkler system

I vaguely remember them discussing irrigation on the programme once and there was a reason they can’t implement it. Probably due to the sheer volume of water which would be needed.

They struggle even getting water and electricity to the pub. Everything is run on generators. Even for the pub it costs a fortune.

Officially there are also lots of rules about how much water farmers are allowed to take from the ground for watering.

Admittedly it's not very well monitored and they all break these rules out of necessity. Don't say anything too loudly or this government will come along and start monitoring and charging farmers more for watering crops and feeding people.

How would you even water an area as vast as Clarksons farm? You couldnt drive a tanker over a field of crops and it’s not like you can just get the hose out.

Just finished the last two episodes - they were pretty brutal, I see why Jeremy put out a warning on his IG about them.

Absolutely adore Hannah, her enthusiasm for birds is wonderful to watch! I'm a bit of a twitcher, but her knowledge is another level. The drawings of each member of the farm as a bird was lovely.

I cried when the calf was put down. Poor thing. I think Jeremy is justified in his anger with the TB. Using calipers seems so old fashioned and Poppy the cow didn't bloody have TB anyway!! Maybe this will be another passion project like the pig ring he invented to stop mum pigs lying on the baby pigs? Not saying JC will invent a cure for bovine TB but someone of his influence could help raise awareness and hopefully change things.

Only getting to watch the last episode now, fair play to Lisa for stepping up to the mark, she played a blinder with all the farm work while Jeremy was out of action.
