We went a couple of years ago and had a drink in the bar there. I did end up spending quite a lot on cheese and gin.

LOL it's very easy to get carried away. Decided to go back next week on a week day now children are back at school. Hopefully it'll be quieter

I noticed no mention was made of the canvas roof on the outside decking area being replaced with the giant umbrellas he was advised to splash out on in the first place. They couldn't help showing this had been done though by those inevitable shots they had to include of people dining out under them on opening day.

It's been reported that Clarkson is worth about 50 million quid, so I could only think that his constant bulking at the price of things on these large scale projects is purely for theatre. With that kind of backing these costs would be peanuts.

There are some scenes that are straight from Top Gear tbh.

I think this is just a car lover thing. It seeps into alsorts. I am obsessed with Audis and will bring them into ANYTHING. Especially my fellas Audi RS7 Which we had remapped and has 700BHP and easily does over 200mph.

My friends constantly take the piss out of how much I talk about this car

Have watched clarksons farm from the first series. Love the grand tour when he is with the other too
Got his book in a charity shop last week fir 50p still on amazon for £18.
There is many shows about farming ....country file & on the farm but they don't go into the deep cost of farming .

Have you read the book is it any good?

Re. the Hawkstone thing, if I was running that shop, I'd put a sign up suggesting local alternatives to Hawkstone or when a customer asks about it, tell them they don't have that, but they do have xyz which is the same and from farmer John in the next village.

She said they're only interested in the brand rather than the message behind it or trying anything new. And it's well signed and advertised what's being sold there. It's just another fad, must see or have things.

I stand by that fact there should be a message in the programme about checking out your local farmer is up to rather than driving across the country to Clarkson's business venture and make him richer.

Can you imagine what Cheerful Charlie has to know? The rules and regulations are unbelievable. He seems to cover everything.

JC will be paying him an arm and leg for his services so he should know everything

The stropeyness was fine at first with Clarkson starting out but now it's like they all play a character. Clarkson must have some business acumen to have the ideas he does but it's all dumbed down for tv. Would be better if they move on to be more informative and intelligent content. It's just not evolved from the first series.

Top Gear did the same and strung it out for 20 years

Has anyone seen the Clarkson's Farm Reddit? Absolutely chock full of thickos wondering if Clarkson is still alive, people thinking he's only just been diagnosed and baffled Americans asking why he didn't just water the fields.

To be fair his diagnosis confused me, meaning the timing of it 🫤

How would you even water an area as vast as Clarksons farm? You couldnt drive a tanker over a field of crops and it’s not like you can just get the hose out.

I'm sure they've considered the options. If they could they would but it's just not possible.
