I love Harriet. Proper farming girl who juggles her career too.
Were the burgers nice?Went to Diddly squat farm yesterday and really enjoyed it, despite the hour and a half queue, everyone was really chatty and made the time go quickly. Came out of the farm shop £103 lighternot to mention the £35 we spent on burgers
Just finished watching season 3 and sad I've finished it. Really enjoyed it.
When he said he was going to test them with one test, I did assume he was gonna do a drag race.Clarkson had a Top Gear moment with his Tractor comparisons.![]()
If you're unable to book the Farmer's dog,try the farmer's puppy. You can grab burgers and sausage rolls etc. No need to book.I visited the farm shop the other week on the way back from a Cotswolds wedding and I was so impressed with how neat and tidy it looked. Nothing like the chaos shown on screen, but then again I visited was on a Monday just before closing time. There were maybe 5 others in the shop and it's a small place, so I can't imagine what it's like on a Saturday. Lots of other people milling about in the seating area enjoying the sun, taking photos with the big Clarksons Farm Amazon Prime sign. The cow juice machine was out of order
If anyone goes to the shop, get the crisps. They're unreal. The new flavour mushroom and wild garlic was delish. I have yet to try my bee juice! Next time I will be prepared and book The Farmers Dog!
And yet, when I was doing supermarket deliveries to lots of farms in the Fens during Covid, I never came across a farmhouse that wasn't a mega mansionI love cars, but cannot say I was ever a massive fan of Clarkson on Top Gear.
Or of his paper writings!
No fan of Meghan, but that was way way too much...
However, I am a farmer's daughter and I love how he has shone the light on the plight of farmers. Farmers work soo hard for a pittance.
For this reason, I have become a fan.
Well done Jeremy!
He said on Instagram to watch out for it tonight!Hawkstone advert right at the start of the England match. I'm guessing the Hawkstone business is doing better than Jeremy's other businesses.![]()
We got there at 9.10am.and the queue was already an hour and a half long. The earlier you can get there, the better. Massive queues getting in and they shut the car park off by the time we left at around 12. This was last Saturday. Curious to know how it's going to be next Wednesday.I plan on going at the mid/end of June.
Do you think it is best to turn up at 9am opening time? Although comunater traffic??
he is so sweet.I absolutely love Calebs character (as in his essence/his being, not that he's not real!) he's so sweet and genuine, he doesn't put it on for the camera - you can clearly see when he tries to (eg pig labour massagewhich ultimately became a genuine moment!)
It was never more evident with how upset he was with the failed crop "I know it isn't my money" and how defeated he was because he'd put his all into it.
No, just a surname coincidenceIs Gerald related to Caleb?
I think Jeremy mentioned there are a lot of Coopers in the village, so could perhaps be related somewhere down the line! No, just a surname coincidence
i was so shocked by that! I guess that’s where he’s lucky to have other income streams, other farmers might not be so luckyWe finished it last weekend and I’m stil in absolute shock that he made £140!!! profit on his crops!![]()
It will all blow over enough that Amazon don't have to drop the show.Already filmed but according to Amazon that’s it’s because of JC’s character. I’d imagine they’re rethinking their decision now - and if they don’t another streamer will snap the show up
I do wonder if they left or if he got rid!Just catching the last couple of episodes of the series.
That pair of chancers who were supposed to be setting up the pub for Jeremy, what a useless pair of twats. Neither of them did anything other than spend huge sums of money. Neither of them thought to sort out pricing, left to Charlie at the last minute. They needed slapping and chucking out, never mind them threatening to kick Jeremy in the nuts. And frankly them walking out on opening weekend was the height of unprofessionalism.
I thought the chef was a bit of a dickhead as well. Seemed to think his needs were the only ones that mattered.
Jeremy bit off too much trying to open so quickly, but those women didn't help anything.
Charlie is just a fucking hero!
